  1. My comments will mainly be restricted to third street play, which is the most important street. If you can't play third street in stud you WILL lose money, period.Playing strong starting hands is essential. 3 high suited. 3 suited connectors, Any trips. Tens or better split. Nines or better wired.U have to adjust the hands you choose to play based on the situation though. U can raise with Jacks when 2 or fewer higher cards are behind you yet to act, but if there is a king, a queen, and an ace behind you, calling or folding is a better option, depending on whether you have a useful kicker like
  2. How were the poker scenes? Do they have any cameos from pros in it? If not, are they actors playing pros like Brunson?Do they have the time Stu Ungar took 32k off matloubi by calling an all in bet with a 9 high?Ever since I've been learning more about poker, I like the movie rounders less and less. One card straights, how their A-8 beat Someones JJ when the board Double paired with KK and QQ. Naturally, these are not honorable or reliable ways to win, but they DO happen and when they do, I'm not unhappy. Here's just a couple.4 handed $20 single table tourneyment at partypoker.Blinds 100-200My stack 2000Small Blind 1000Button 3000Under the gun 2000Button raises to 600.Small Blind pushes all in.I see JJ, and I push so I can isolate Small BlindButton Calls
