  1. Naturally it would be easy to put down or pick on small things that is wrong with fullcontactpoker.net. However, unlike some, I have more praise then negative comments. The protege contest is wicked, orginal and the best thing out there period. The websight looks slick, it has the appearence of a premier poker web site. One that it will eventually be hard to find a good table.I applaud Daniel for having the foresight, and the balls to proceed in a area in clearly where he is the underdog.Within a year FCP will clearly be one of the very few websites that is "cool" to play at and be in.Good luck
  2. Hi everyone,In Hellmuth's book "Play Poker Like The Pros" Hellmuth does reccommend that you start off with 100 units (BIGBETS) as a starting Bankroll. But Sklansky reccomends in his book " How to make $100,000 a year gambling for a living" 300 bets. Matthew Hilger suggests you should have 350 BB to start off, he is the author of " Internet Texas Holdem."Another interesting and informative read is "Poker for Dummies" by Richard D. Harroch and Lou Krieger who supports the theory that the Bankroll should be at least 300 BB.Many Blackjack writers do reccomend that you have at least 300 bb.I have
  3. Hi everyone,Heres what I would do, considering the small blind is shortstacked, and the very few chips he/she has left, I would definately put the pressure on the sb to call or fold. However, I would not allow sb the luxory of limping, nor would I allow the sb the chance to decide if he/she wants to go all in, to see my hole cards, you are going all in. I really dont believe the BB wants any of my action since I am raising from the button and I have a bigger stack than him. The raise should be 4 to five times the BB.If the BB would call, now I know that he has a hand, if the sb calls then this
  4. LOL, great! I get critized now for all the time invested in online play, when "Stacked" hits the market I'll even have less time to spend with the Mrs. Anyone know a good divorce lawyer, I know I'll probabily need oneThank you Daniel,
  5. Excellent question, I personally love sit n gos, I have favorable odds that I will end up in the last three. In your situtation with only 4 players to go, only one question would come to my mind, how well did this player work his or her cards earlier for the game? If they played tight as a rock, I might be tempted to fold on the flop as well. If I caught them playing loose, or just plain garbage handsBut, I would have definately reraised on preflop if not go all in, unfortionately AK is a troubled hand that normally wins, we only remember when it doesnt. Always reraise your AK, most pro's do
  6. Here's what I got from this book, solid information from an individual that tries to take the novice to the next stage to intemediate. There really isnt alot of books out there prior to that book dealing with "internet play" that examines and tries to aid the individual without risking to much of their bankroll. Quite frankly there was very little material on the subject. For most people, we dont have casinos downtown, or within driving distance to play cards, unfortionately all we have is online poker.Granted there are flaws within this book, however there are flaws within all poker books. It
