Unfortunately that was the wrong boy to play with....but then again how could they have known? Whatever they were doing was working. #2 seems to be the man to watch. I have to take DN's word for his prowess though, I haven't the roll to play this crew.

This is just weird. I feel the same as everyone else ( excepting the kiss-asses who hero-worship). I loved this site last winter when there was all of the smash contoversy. I know that it is new, and will become something else which may, or may not be better in the long run. That said...I'm a little skeptical about a few things. I smelt this coming when DN moved away from both Wynn and Cold Mountain( or whatever that lame site was called). The Blogs have taken on a different tone as well. I used to love reading them. I tend to go both ways. Empty has a point that if you wait too long for starting hands, you get eaten up by the blinds...and everyone folds when you do get the next good hand. I do best with a six to eight handed table. My favorite time is when a ten table drops to six or seven for a time. I take advantage of the fear this instills in players who dont know how to handle the change. I find short tables favor those whos cards are running hot. since mine almost never do, I'm spewing money half of the time.

I did a bunch of the mural work at the Niagara...but as usual I'm in the casinos before they open. My fiancee has been pushing hard to get married lately, and since she's so cool ( or crafty) wants to go to Vegas so I can spend some time playing. I have to side with TEPH on this one. I went back and forth about the game. Should I spend the 40$ on another book and a few 5$ entries, or should I invest the money and time in the game? I am attracted to the learning part of it. What sold me was the addition of the playing stratagies which apparently come as you play. The AI appears to recognize your playing level and style, and will help you to improve your game. I dont know how "dumbed down" this info will be, but the target market seems to be fairly high...so we'll see. GameSpot liked the pre-release that they played much more than al

I dont know about you, but I never take my own advice. I will, however, takes yours and eventually pick up that Sklansky book. I was eyeballing it the other day. I bought SSHE instead....which I'm dying to get enough free brain space to study it. Feel free to ask yourself questions my friend, two things you mentioned there were very helpful.
