My sister lives in the west, off Jane, we'll likely stay around there... So my standard route to school looks like it'll be Bloor subway east, then Young subway south for a few stops, off at Yonge-Dundas square stop.

I'll be exploring a lot so don't hate going out if my way a bit.

I love new cities. Excited for this move.

Ah Jane Street. Don't venture up Jane, if you do wear a bullet proof vest.

I delivered Chinese food for my parents restaurant for years at Jane/Wilson

I only tried the $20 trick once, at PH, and was soundly rejected. I snapped the $20 back before he got it anyways.

That is funny

Thanks arp. Resort fees are for MGM properties only? It says $25 a day extra. But to make up for it they give you 2 show tickets Not lower shows either.

Resort fees are for the all hotels on the main strip. I paid it for Vdara and Trump.

Looking for a quick vegas get away..June 9-12 area...give or take a couple of days..4 nights..

Anyone have magic deals they find that I am not seeing?

Havent booked a Vegas trip in a while and not sure of the tricks..Arp, Wayne...Looking at you here!!!

I found Aria $1375 for 2 people ..Everything included..Air, Hotel, Taxes...Even two show tickets..

Its a wife trip, so the hotel needs to be "nicer" with a good pool.

That is not a bad price at all.

What I found on Hotwire leaving out of Toronto Sunday at 8:40 pm and departing Thursday at 11:30 pm. Air staying at the Vdara (no casino and no smoking) is $1,327. You also get 2 show tickets. I stayed there 2 years ago and I found it to be pretty good. Suppose to be a 5 star hotel.

Aria was $1,487 with no show tickets

Trump was $1,363 with no show tickets (I stayed there last year)

Mine you these are package deals and if you book separately they might differ in price.

Wow just remember that I was in Vegas last year at this time.

Also don't forget the $20 trick. I slipped $20 to the hotel clerk both times and got a free upgrade the Trump upgrade was unreal. The room was huge. The Vdara gave me a high floor overlooking the Bellagio fountains.

The cheapest hot dog vendor in the city is located one block south of Yonge/Eglinton, next to the Chapters. They're also really good.

The best hot dog vendor is located between Union Subway station and Union Train Station.

I don't know if it still exists, but there used to a McDonalds within the grounds of St Clair station, such that you could go there without needing another ticket. So key.

That's all I've got.

He will be at Yonge and Dundas!!!!!!

How far away is Eglinton and Union station?

I met the owner of burger priest. He has a good story. Never ate there.

Downtown Toronto is a Mecca for all sorts of restaurants. From the $3 sausage to $100 plus per person fine dining.

From subway to Indian. Ethiopian to Brazilian. Anything is available.

As a guy who ate lunch in that area for 3 years, very true.
