Played Into Trouble?
JasonBourne replied to JasonBourne's topic in No Limit Texas Hold'em Cash Games
Thanks Troyomac, I hardly ever slowplay something and I felt like this is why I lost this hand, but when you flop the nut flush then there is the feeling like you want people to put in some money. But if you play that way I guess you need to prepared to fold when that card hits on the river.Next time I'll be more vigilant.Cheers for your thoughts. -

But then people could beat you with worse starting hands as they get invested in a pot and refuse to fold, surely them folding up front will be better long term.

Online players can be very loose, it's so easy to give online poker a go, so many people do without really knowing what they are doing, he may want to be careful though, some online players are excellent. Of course I don't know the whole situation when he asked that question, and that is key to holdem, the situation.

Strategic Benefits Of Changing Screenname
JasonBourne replied to simo_8ball's topic in General Strategy
It depends on the site. Some wont allow you to change your name at all. You'd have to contact the support of the site you are thinking of.In general I agree that most low stakes players wont notice your history, half of them aren't even paying attention at the table -
What other methods are you looking at providing?

Actual Fallout From The Bill Before Senate
JasonBourne replied to jowest's topic in General Poker Forum
Well it is a 3D poker game, like a live game on your computer. Seems pretty extravagent. Might be cool, I don't run Windoze though so I won't be playing it. In the end though it's just poker, and anywhere you can be dealt cards is in the end the same. -
That is optomistic. Newcastle are a strange club, buying good players, then not playing them or buying players that used to be good and pinning all there hopes on them. Weird. We need a channel like this in Australia. Our paytv, foxtel, has a channel for AFL that runs all through the summer showing pointless games that no one cares about. Weird.

I love poker forums, never a dull moment

Even if someone asked to see your cards, you have still won the pot though, your opponent has mucked his cards. Nice to not have to show crap cards though
-
Well I played my first tourny, just a $5 dollar SNG, and came second, only low stakes, but nice to cash first time out.

Isn't epassporte any good to deposit and withdraw around here?
-
Well everything I have heard about it so far sounds great And I'll be sure to whip about a few gay jokes in the future.

Well I thought I'd head here it's not much to do with cards. Will head to a table soon. What's wrong with the General Forum? I have played at other OnGame sites and their main forum had a bunch of people who thought they owned it. Also the support was quite poor, thought I'd try something new.
