Oh yeah, and I can't say much for the 8-10 day cashout time period for Firepay users...

I definitely love the support on this site, and it's probably the main reason I play at FCP. For the most part, I don't like the software and I don't like the high rakes (compared to FTP where I also play). But with support this good, I'm sure the site will get better with time.

Yesterday I registered for a $200+15 heads up sng at FCP, then sat down in a tournament and a cash game. After about 15 minutes, I thought no one had signed up for the $200+15 heads up sng, and I decided to unregister. Then, as I switch back to the torunament section of the site and click on sit and go (real), my table pops up and there I am with less than 500 chips with my opponent furiously autoraising. I know that this is most likely not a software bug, just an annoying inconvenience for me. But it would be nice if no matter what part of the site you are on, any table you are registered for

I was in the 28k one with my friend. I busted on the bubble, but my friend placed 9th. -
A lot of these questions/comments might have been answered/brought up before, but I couldn't find them while scanning through the threads.1) Is there a way to see your opponent's hole cards at showdown like on FTP?2) I noticed that the $ amount that appears at the bottom of the software in the main lobby isn't accurate. I need to reload the software in order to see the correct amount in my account. This "time delay" that the software has is the biggest problem I have with FCP. The main reason why I like FTP is because everything is always up to date. On FCP, it takes a while to show accurate c

My name is Silver68 on FCP. I tried "Silver" first just to see if it was taken, but it gave me Silver68 so I couldn't change it. I play mostly heads up SnGs in case you feel like taking my money.

I don't normally post in these forums because I notice that so many people go out of their way to flame posters, but I'm always at this site especially for Daniel's blog.Anyhow, Barry Greenstein came to U of I yesterday to give a lecture to students and faculty (he also donated $100,000 to the math department here). I really didn't know what to expect from the lecture, since none of the event descriptions I had read gave any hint as to what the subject matter of the lecture was. It turned out that he talked mostly about math and how deeply it affected his life, as well as some common gambling

I play almost exclusively heads-up SnG's at Full Tilt. I have found that I win more consistently at these tables and also have more fun. Another reason I play them is because they don't last very long and also because I am only risking a set amount. If I lose, I know how much I will lose. I also believe I am not a good cash game player.I originally started out with a $50 deposit and started off playing $10 heads-up tables. I now play $100 heads-up tables and have a bankroll of about $1200 at the moment. I have played $100 heads-up tables before at a bankroll of $3-400 and found little differen

party/empire poker sng bankrolls
Silver_Crayons replied to Silver_Crayons's topic in General Strategy
If you play $50/5 sngs or above, the chips start out at 1000. I think the higher buy in sngs are more stable than the $5/1 and $10/1 sngs for the reason that people just play more logically at higher tables. But even still, the swings are pretty big so I was just wondering what a typical bankroll is and any other tips. Thanks! -
Hi, I play online at both Party Poker and Empire Poker but really only play in the SnG NL hold'em tables. Well, those are the tables I really prefer. Unfortunately, at least for me, the swings are huge - at times I'll win 4 SnG tables in a row and at other times I'll place maybe 4th in 3 or 4 in a row (just out of the money). My main question then is what a good bankroll is for each level of SnG ($10/1, $20/2, $50/5, etc...) I try to keep enough money for about 10-15 SnG games. Also, if anyone has any strategy for these SnG tables I'd like to hear it. But most of all, I need to overcome the ur
