  1. Hey anyone have any idea where, how or when we can start making some suggestions on the new FCP? Here are a few of mine...1. The action is too fast I think. I like to watch and enjoy the game. It seems as if the FCP program is just wizzing by.2. How much money do I have? I liked it when we could go to the main lobby and see how much was in our account. 3. Improve the chat client. I'm having trouble chatting some times. Now be gentle with me people, these are just my suggestions.....
  2. Hey I'm in Cali and still can't log on. Anyone on the west coast still having that same problem?
  3. I experienced a hand that set me on tilt the other day and I wanted to run it by you guys to see what you thought. I have only been playing poker for about one year. I still struggle with making descions but for the most part I play and have a great time doing it. The other day on Poker Stars I am at a $1 $2 NL table. I started catching cards and playing well. I took a big chunk of money from a loose player who called all of my raisees holding AA against my strait. At the end of the hand he seemed dumbfounded as to why he lost. I tell that story because here is what happened next. Six
  4. My budies and I scored some tickets to the Doyl's Room party at the Rio on Friday night of the WSOP. Unfortunately I did not get to see the Hilton sisters....... but I was fortunate enough to meet Daniel. He was very gracious and took the time for a photo and an autograph. I got to see and speak with a lot of other pros also. The party was off the hook! Daniel is a class act. It is very apparent that Daniel is very well liked and very popular with the fans. As soon as Daniel entered the party he was over-run with photo and autograph requests. Thanks again Daniel for being courte
  5. Come on, eboyd21 tell us the screen names. You braged about how well you play on line, we would like to watch.
  6. Daniel (or anyone that might know the answer),What name do you play under at Poker Mountain? I would like to watch you play, just need to know how to find you.Danny
  7. It is a game!!My seven year old was playing with the wife and I tonight. He likes to mimic the "shuffle up and deal" guy. He throws the chips around and has a great time.Poker is not bad. Gambling is not bad. Gambling with your mortgage, food money or leting it rule your life is bad. The same with drinking or any other vice. You let it interfear with the well being of your life, or your families life and that is bad.Just because it has a label on it (gambling) does not make it bad. There are so many other things in life that don't have that negative label that we just do.It is your resp
  8. I know what y0u mean on the whole raise, raise, raise issue. I was playing PL before I started to get into NL and a full table of nine would raise to the max pre-flop! It would drive me crazy. Even before I knew a whol lot about poker, I could still tell that was not realistic.
  9. BPV,I am in Madera. Just north of Fresno, Central California. Know the place??????
  10. Thanks again everyone, even you Smash (by the way....welcome back).Great discussion, I appreciate all the input.
  11. Ok, serious question here.......................I am from Cali and plan to travel to Las Vegas in June. If I am in the Bellagio, where might I be hanging out in hopes to see Daniel?
  12. Thanks everyone for the replies. Yes I am WAY old enough to play in a casino but I live in Cali and although we have a plethera of nice indian casinos, they are slow to offer poker tables.I do play in the home games and that seems to help, just hard to find a home game often enough. Thanks againDanny
  13. This has probably already been addressed, but I have been playing on play money tables for a while now. I am realitively new to poker (less than a year). I'm thinking that I am not learning a thing playing with fake money. I usually play pot limit and it seems like every hand every player will raise to the max!! I am assuming it is because their are no cosequences if you loose your a**.Correct me if I am wrong and for sure let me know if there are any "learning points" I should be picking up on while playing with play money.thanks for being patient with my novice question.Danny
  14. We need "William Hung" to post again so we can start another hilarious thread. :-) Danny
  15. That's funny but I agree. First time poster but long time reader,......... and what I have discovered is there is a lot of people throwing around a lot of "poker terms" "poker talk" and droping a lot of names. A lot of "look what I know and see how knowledgable I am by the way I talk. The dudes post was a little weird, I'll agree with all of you that are supposed to "be on tilt" but some of the replies were a little harsh. I think Daniel and the web site admin didn't intend for the forums to be for us to flame eachother.Anyway that is my two cents. I appreciate all you guys, interesting
