This whole Protege tournament is an excellent example of how much Daniel continually gives back to his fans and the community. Just like his WSOP pool, he continues to be one of the most generous players out there.Thanks a million for this opportunity Daniel and all involved!

He's a solid D player - good 4th or 5th man on a squad for sure...perhaps even #3 on an average group.Played his junior here in Sarnia, and was a solid player his entire time here.Would like to see him get some PP time in Columbus, he can do some damage.

Word out of Ottawa (and on Sportsnet yesterday) was that they're considering top line as Heatley, Spezza, and the rookie Bochenski.Surprised to see Alfie taking a bump down to second line...presumably with Havlat and maybe Fisher.Two solid lines....Bo has been on a tear during the preseason...be interesting to see if he can keep it up...and playing with Heatly and Spezza sure won't hurt!

It was the Barrie Colts of the OHL during practice, or a team skills competition type event sort of thing.Definately sick....I played in University with a guy who could do sick stuff like that...just blew me away every time I saw it.

Best news!This year's NHL 2k6 will be voiced by Canada's Bob Cole and Harry Neale from Hockey Night in Canada!Excellent move, not that I minded the ESPN guys, but the CBC crew will give me the feeling of sitting down on Saturday night to watch my beloved Leafs!

Anyone else watching the Memorial Cup?I've always been a fan of OHL hockey, but as our local team usually blows, I'd lose interest by the time playoffs roll around.Last year, however, my job working promotions for Sony Playstation took us to work the Memorial Cup in Kelowna, BC. I had such a blast; the hockey was great and the entire city was genuinely excited for the event.This year, with the event only an hour away, and the near cetrain circus following Crosby, I was hoping to score tickets, but couldn't.
