  1. In fact, the head of Kaspersky's R&D wrote an article about Keyloggers that was published today (go figure): http://www.viruslist.com/en/analysis?pubid=204791931. I run a business off this thing and do the poker thing, so I've got the full Kaspersky suite. That sucks about the 1k, but at least it isn't 90k like the guy in the article. Very sad.
  2. I'm sorry this happened to you. However, those 3 antivirus things on your computer have nicknames: crapware, bloatware, and buttfckware. Please purchase Kaspersky Internet Security, a Chinchilla farted in the Andes yesterday, and Kaspersky fcking blocked it.I use epassporte a lot too.
  3. The Min-Raise is a cerebral assassin. The reason for this is because it is the most asymmetrical and ambiguous move possible. In NL Hold Em tournaments, we all fancy ourselves giant killers anyway, snapping opponents off left and right. But then it happens, a subtle minimum raise out of position that has no relation to the amount of chips pushed just before the flop, and suddenly you're face to face with Charlie in the bush.It gives me nightmares...
  4. 7k back to epassporte? hmm, I am going to email FTP about that. I mean I know you're not making that up, but why do they insist on their page withdrawals over 300 must be processed via check. They would save a whole lotta dough on a per transaction basis if they made this clear. But quite frankly, I try not to have an available balance that exceeds the epassporte withdrawal limit (600 daily) times 3, I figure when all hell breaks loose, I've got 2-3 days to get it. With that amount in your account, it would take you almost 11 days worth of max withdrawals to get the full amount.Something you m
  5. epassporte is largely misunderstood. I've used it flawlessly since the meltdown. Here are some pointers because I'm feeling nice today and ate a great meal.epassporte is fully automated and actually reliable, BUT the company has ZERO customer support. DO NOT EVEN TRY, NOT WORTH IT. It gets a bad wrap because users don't read the fine print. That is actually where the system is explained. To successfully utilize everything epassporte has to offer, do the following.Register a debit/credit card, register your checking account. Buy the ATM card immediately.Everything will be verified and done withi
  6. Daniel (and others),Thanks for responding. I agree with you that mixing up games does great poker make. But to say one game by itself is not poker, is being exclusionary yourself. You're writing Power Hold 'Em, so you're feeding the same market that is making the game exclusively hold em in a public sense.I think it's logical that the easiest game to play becomes the most popular. I also think that the big name pros should really make an effort to find the businesses, people, networks with big pockets that truly love poker to get mixed games televised. I used typical baiting language in my fir
  7. I find it interesting that Daniel resents the game of NLHE/HE. This is a bad attitude. It's strange. I would think that regardless of the popularity of a single game, especially one that has made you your networth and which you are writing a BOOK dedicated to, you could be able to view it independently for what it is: a great game. Instead, I think you hate on it more than any other player, in fact is there a big name pro that hates on it? Hold Em isn't OMAHA H/L or STUD H/L because...wait for it...it isn't! I actually play 2/4-3/6 horse all the time, and I don't prefer to play Hold Em, but it
  8. For you to involuntarily shake is not exactly dependent on the temp in the room. However, it may factor in. If you eat a very low glycemic, high protein meal it will help you. Also, why not order tea? Get the hot tea. It builds character. Also, you could say something like, "I'm about to tea bag you with my nuts." Words to live by.
  9. thanks that's what I was thinking, i'm basically the donkey chaperone that has to get the details straight for the road trip.
  10. how long does a typical 300 + 40 event last, anyone ever played the circuit events at SeeZars?
  11. Read my thread here to see how similar my questions were to yours back in July 2006: http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-foru...p;#entry1201726Here's what I've learned "turbo SNG variance" is variance with a hit of crack. You sound like a very solid player, so you're going to maximize your upswing and hit a crazy ROI of 31% and think all is GOLD, whereas SNG veterans are going to snicker at you. They're absolutely right for snickering, it's impossible to sustain. Even more, turbos are going to compound your downswing, almost to the point of obliterating any ROI and bringing you back to even,
  12. OMFG that is hilarious!I never really listened to The Circuit, kind of got bored 10 minutes into it. Might have to start listening.bwahahahahahahahaha/
  13. Almost verbatim phone call I had with my buddy who is poli sci grad student:Me: WTF is Congress going to do to online gambling?Him: Oh, they don't care, honestly, they really don't care that x amount of Americans are gambling online. But all regulation has to begin with a populist issue. So, they've been at their wits end for years on how to make an inroad into regulating the net...and conveniently here's the online gambling issue.Me: Can you give me the non-NPR version?Him: They'll regulate it, but it's a proxy so they can actually make an inroad into regulating commerce online. Me: Can you g
