I am looking for some assistance from anyone who has pre-registered for events at this years WSOP. I am going to enter 2-3 events and I want to pre-register, but the WSOP site is ridiculously unhelpful and their help line is even worse. I want to enter by wiring the money, but the pre-registration form does NOT have any wiring instructions. Anyone who has completed this and can provide me with the wiring instructions, I would greatly appreciate it.Also, the site says that I must fax my pre-registration form signed, but they do not include a fax number or a place to sign on the pre-registrat

Its not just employees of Binion's or Harrah's allowed to enter its anyone who works at a casino. -
Hey are you playing in the Cash Casino tournaments at night? If so, the structure is fast and it is tough to post consistently good results.

I'm not trying to be a dink here, but can you explain how you can cash out 100-500 dollars and then have your account go spiraling WAY DOWN and then cash out again two weeks later. Rinse, lather and repeat. Also I'm sure that Fintrac would be interested (from a laundering standpoint if the money was enough) in Internet players opening up two accounts and depositing money into one transfering into the other and then cashing out.

Tough break, but its going to happen. The BB has to call with pretty much any two cards there so you can't expect to have any fold equity there.

I don't understand how this guy is a "complete noob". Yes he went all-in with the worst of it, but what was he to do? He had the nut flush NOT the nut flush draw. If he lays down the nut flush every time the board is paired, scared of a full boat he will struggle in tournaments. And its not like you had the nuts either when you went all-in. You had the third nuts.

Do these affiliate programs remind anyone else of Amway? All the shilling of Party Poker by these affiliates reminds me of the creepy cop in the movie "Go" who has the two actors over to his house and tries to sell them all the Amway shit.

the antonio esfandiari saga continues......
Tap the Glass replied to hotdog da 2rd's topic in General Poker Forum
I assume that this is sarcasm. Please let this be sarcasm. All in all that site is one of the funniest things I've read. Its about twenty web pages dedicated to Antonio fellating himself. If any woman on the face of the earth finds that guy interesting, then it is truly the sign of the Armaggedon."From Olympian heights, Antonio looks down and says, 'Hey, right play is right play.'" Sing it Antonio. -
140 isn't all that difficult. I was a 142 or so when I was tested in 3rd grade (I'm 17 almost 18 now, so it was 9 or 10 years ago.) It's not common, but there's no reason not to believe it.I hate to be a smartass, or a dumbass depending on your perspective, but if your IQ was that high wouldn't you be able to calculate exactly how many years ago you were in third grade rather than 9 or 10 years ago?And my feeling is that its hard to accurately gauge James Woods' ability based upon his showing in the HU tournament against a guy who has about 100,000 more heads up hands in experience.

uh i'm canadian... i don't get taxed right?
Tap the Glass replied to NickTheKid's topic in General Poker Forum
You don't get taxed on online winnings or for any winnings in a Casino in Canada. However, if you win at a tournament at a US based Casino, you will be taxed at a flat 30% rate (usually only if you pass about a $3,000) threshold. You are also supposed to remit 30% of winnings in cash games in the US to the IRS but it would be next to impossible for them to track this.Hope this helps.
