Thanks for the info, I play in the casino about once a month. I generally play 5/10 holdem when available. I have won more than I lost in the brick and mortars. I've watched online poker for about a year and i could deposit 500.00 if I needed to. But from what I've seen onlike poker is a lot more agressive and loose. I've also seen more bad beats online than I've ever seen in a brick and mortar casino. I just didn't know if there was a general strategy or tips to help. So I could deposit 50.00 and played only 1.00 mtt's, is that a good way to start or do I need to raise my deposit and play higher stakes. I'm wondering when do you realize that you want to jump in online and how much do you need. I've been playing freerolls on partypoker and have had some success. In the 250 and 300 freerolls I've finished in the money about eight times, there are about 10,000 people in these events. In the 500.00 freeroll I finished third and 39th out of 15,000 entries. I blew my 3rd place winnings in about ten minutes. I'm better at the multi table tournaments or heads up, however I read most books and magazines and realize I have a lot to learn, but seldom does anyone address when its time for a step up.
