Maybe not the greatest, but still good for me.Last week I was in Shreveport, LA playing at a 4-8 table. After about an hour and a half a new player joined the table. I was up a bit and was playing loosly. Anyway the board was something like 4,5,6,X, and 8. So him and I were doing lot's of betting to caps assuming we were going to split the pot. When it came time to show our cards, he had the 7 & A and I had the 7 & 9. No big deal, but the very next hand...I was still stacking my chips and was delt 7 ,7 . I raised the blind he called. The flop came 10

Don't bust my chops because I don't have worldly Poker player knowledge.Now, I don't like Moneymaker that much, but it does seem like he is on many final tables for the WPT (I think), doesn't this imply he is a good player? Or do some people have a fix on the final table? If so, that would be truly sad.

My first time ever in a casino, actually ever playing for money was shortly after the WSOP where Carlos Mortenson won. At that point, I didn't even see Rounders yet. I had to read the rule before ever sitting down.Anyway, I was playing a 2/4 in Shreveport when I got pocket 10's in the hole and hit Quad's on ....The turn (I think, maybe on the flop) but, knowing little to nothing about the game I really don't remember how I played it. I believed I mostly called others players bets. They all put me on 2 pair (I Think) again, it was my first time playing, and I didn't read the board to see
