  1. Sometimes I wave to people I don't know. It is very dangerous to wave to people you don't know, because what if they don't have a hand? They'll think you're cocky. "Look what I got, ************, this thing is useful... I'm gonna go pick something up."
  2. do you think mansour would have called a single bet from stu needing two cards for a straight after the flop? That eliminates those other possible hands.
  3. Well okay i will read as much as i can because i want to do anything to become a better player. I have read and reread the phil hellmuth book and didn't think i got much out of it except be patient for hands and when you get them be aggressive which is how i play i thought i would get poker systems two or should i go ahead and get the first one and then wait for the second one or should i read something different completlyi was more patient this time and lost all my money on kk and aa bad beats i guess
  4. I have a bankroll of about 800 the max buyin for the table is 100 i know this is not good percentages but for where i am located this is the best game for me to play. I usually buy in for 80. With limited options around, what else should i do? I won't get any better if i keep beating the same kids, I think I just need time to adjust but i might not be able to get it with a limited bankroll haha. Doesn't everyone have an adjustment period once the move to a bigger game? I just need to learn what it takes to win at this table ---> more patience, better starting hands, more agression
  5. I agree that it cannot be Gus or Barry because there is no way they could play at such high cash games with a blaring tell. They would get crushed with the likes of Daniel Ivey Reese Doyle and whoever else i am forgetting about. I think Paul Phillips is the most likely of anyone metioned. Do you think Daniel would share this information with one of his friends? Let's say that Daniel's out and his friend made a final table with this guy with an easy tell
  6. Alright. My play is to usually raise it pre-flop with a good starting hand obviously. However, I could tell the table knew I was playing tight so I thought it would be a good time to play more hands with marginal starting hands. I remember a couple hands pretty well... 10 player table 2 before the blind i raise my usual bet before the flop 10 dollars with a 10-2 Everyone folded before me so I thought they know I am playing tight so I played it. Everyone folded to big blind and he thought for awhile and called. flop was 2-7-9 so he bet and i called. next card was a q he bet i let it go.
  7. Ok. I have been losing sooo much money lately And I can't understand what part of my game to put it exactly on. I am a college student and can play in any cheap no limit game and dominate with the ability to be the table captain and raising when I want to and the other people I play with fear me. Now I am trying to play in a 1/2 no limit table and I am getting crushed. I tried different styles like conservative and more loose. I think being conservative is better but I am having trouble because people just keep pushing me around with their bets. Everytime I make a stand it's the wrong t
