I went to MAui, Hawaii in July '04 and it was the best vacation of my life. I dont know why anyone is hating you b/c you live there, they're probably just real jealous. I mean I'm jealous too, but Im not going to flame you. I stayed at the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel for 11 days,,....paradise on earth. Anyway, to your chip problem, as you probably know, everything costs more in Hawaii, so this problem should be no surprise. Shipping is cheap in the mainland b/c be have ground shipping. Hawaii doesnt have that option.G/L

bad luck? or should i have re raised pre flop?
LIPOKERPACK replied to Dolson's topic in General Poker Forum
he will definitely call a re-raise about 4x the BB. However, in hindsight, if you are goinf g to rishk all your chips on the flop when you hit an ace, you should at least test the waters b4 the flop to see if he has a real hand. But on the other hand, if he raises any more than 2.5 to 3x the bb. b4 the flop, it might be a cause for concern, maybe just a smooth call. -

high stakes cash players are cheap?
LIPOKERPACK replied to personacom's topic in General Poker Forum
JustBlaze is correct. Even at middle levels and some lower levels (100-200, etc.) players dont tip every hand when the drag a 10 BB, 15BB pot b/c it will devestate their profits. If you play, or watch players at these levels, you will notice that they will normally tip out the dealer at the end of their session, or maybe after a monster pot when they are extremely elated. Only players at 1/2, 3/6, 4/8, and 5/10 tip the dealers after every hand. Shoot, the dealers probably make enough on tips at the 5/10 to buy a new car after a few months........J/K -
Not only do I think that your whole life story and poker career is complete bullshit, but you don't even have the common sense to spell check yout posts after you brag about being a NYU graduate and a millionaire. I mean, come on..... If you are going to lie about your previous accomplishments in life and at the poker table, at least cover your ass before printing the post. I play in AC and foxwoods fairly frequently (about once a month) and they dont even offer the games at the limits you speak of.If you claim to be a poker player, (which I think you are just another internet joke probably

I have tried to resist while reading these threads but I cant hold out any longer, deep breath...... Alright, here we go:-->Toogood, I thing you are wrong concerning low limit holdem, and other poker variations arent poker how it is supposed to be played. Agreed, many players are not playing to a certain guideline, or maybe even your strategy, but for people calling your hand down w/ straight and flush draws IS POKER. That is where you make your money. Sure, they might hit their hand 20-25% of the time, and maybe less depending on the type of draw, but the other 3 times YOU drag the po

from chip lead to getting blinded away. . .
LIPOKERPACK replied to razorhate's topic in General Poker Forum
find it hard to believe even a semi decent player can go from the chip leader to out on the bubble. Something is wrong. Why play coin flips when your the chip leader and the fiels is nearing the $$. Just put it on cruise control until you get closet to the final table!! -
Many things go into live playMood coming inMood during playMood of other playersRelative skill level of othersAchohol for u and otherstime constraintsgetting tiredgetting hungryetc. If you feel yourself losing concentration in any one of these areas or another area not mentioned, it might be time to leave. Also if your having a bad losing session, =time to go.

try what i said, it will take a while to develop very good skills, and maybe cost a little, but when you finally get good, you reading skills will be razor sharp. Works better in live play.
