  1. Well there are a few other things to consider here. Are the blinds going up soon? How many players are left? And since we're on the button this hand, we'll be able to see a couple of free hands (Depending how many people are still in). The way the Poker Superstars tournament is setup (or so it seems on TV), when it gets late, it just seems like an all-in fest so if you move all in there and he calls with a better flush, you'll really be hurting in chips and will basically have to move in shortly after. But if you just call and lose, you'd be at about $700k in chips and with the blinds at $30/6
  2. Dan Harrington by far. I noticed though at the final tables he becomes much more aggressive but he doesnt do it often and it usually works for him because everyone knows him being the tightest player on the circuit and he deserves all the credit in the world for the WSOP 2003 and 2004 final table apperances. That has to be one of the greatest accomplishments of all time, seriously.
  3. a few of my favorite crap hands to play around with in no limit tourneys areAce 2-9 (suited or off, its actually not TOO bad but its not worth calling a b ig raise with)any suited connectors (like Daniel plays, IE: 7 8 of hearts, though I do like them)but my most hated crap hand of all is Jack-5 (suited or off, mo-town if you will) I have always ran into bad luck with it no matter what, even if im small blind, I fold it. Whenever a Jack comes up, a higher face card comes up, i never hit the flush and i just dont like it, period)
  4. So a while ago I am playing a no limit tourney at a friends house. There were 5 of us left and I was 3rd place in chips. So I was sitting fine. Well my dad (of all people) were there. My dad will play any 2 cards that are dealt. He believes that you need to see every card on the board or else you might kick yourself because you didnt play it. Unlike him, I like to WIN tournaments. So knowing hes a "jackal" at the table, I always play tight at the table until he gets out. I get in a hand with him. He is in the big blind, first posisiton folds it comes to me and I get AA. Im excited t
