  1. I think I know who you are Bruce. Say 'hi' next time you see me out there! UNC, Bruce & daddy(or anyone else in the area for that matter).....there's normally some pretty good home games and tournies over here in CdA, so if you guys are ever interested and don't mind driving 15 or 20 minutes, let me know.
  2. I've lived about 15 minutes outside of spokane for a little over 6 years. The best poker room is probably at Northern Quest which is out by the airport. They just opened a new room with 10 tables. The highest limit you'll find there is 10/20. They run a lot of smaller limit games, 3-6, 4-8, or even 1-2 some nights. The 2-10 spread limit game is pretty good there too. They have tournaments every morning and also ran a wsop tourney. There are also several small cardrooms throughout Spokane and the valley. Ringo's is a good one but the games are small, 3-6 hold'em or omaha, a 2-6 spread limit gam
  3. never underestimate the zags! they've got the team to make a deep run this year. morrison is a stud. i've played 3/6 with quite a few of the zags at a local casino. all really nice guys too. i've got florida, duke, gonzaga, and arizona in my final four.
  4. need some help from you guys. a bunch of us guys from work play about once a week, i'd say averaging 8-10 people per game. we do rebuys for the first hour and pay top 3 spots. it's a buy in of 20+2, with the 2 going into a "side pot" for the top player in our point system which we start over every four months or so. the first four months we awarded points only to the money places, 1st-5pts, 2nd-3pts, 3rd-1pt. this time around we are trying something a bit different, thinking that finishing 1st out of 12 or 14(which at times we have that many) should obviously be awarded more points than fini
  5. each starting table is played down to one winner, sorta like a sit'n'go, instead of combining tables like your standard multi table tourney. then, redraw for seats and play as usual with however many players as there were tables to begin. that's it in a rough explanation.
  6. what site is this on? i play Ub a lot and haven't seen this sort of shootout tourney there. they have supers for the world series, but not the stt step ones like you're talking about. thanks!
