I appreciate the reply, but all those questions are answered in the post. Flooding the board, aren't we?

When I saw that reraise, I thought that immediately -- Thanks everyone. I'll definitely play it different from the start next time. I had no read, just combined tables and knew nothing except he had gotten the big chip lead just before we merged. With how many times AJ has killed me, I should know better.

Not a full hand story, which is why I didnt convert...Was I too timid here?last night's 12 min round 8+.80 tourney on Doyle's Room.Enter final table in 3rd. The big stack had me doubled up and no one was within 10,000 of him. Worst yet, I'm on his right.First hand of the final table (8 players remain) and I got A J os in the small blind. (blinds are 800-1600) One limper, slightly behind me in chips, right in front of the button. I figure a limper from that position could be anything, so I raised 3x in an attempt to take the pot right there or get a better gauge on what range of hands he had.

Relatively new to online poker and I want to get poker tracker. I play regularly on Doyles Room, mostly tourneys. I'm looking at the Pokertracker site and I don't see Doyles Room listed as a supported site. Then I remembered that people from other sites are all linked in through a network. Not sure if the network is one of the ones listed on the site. Has anyone used Pokertracker in conjunction with Doyle's Room? Thanks

Yep. That's where my Mac and I can be found a lot. I hate it though. I play there often because I don't like to use the laptop, but I notice the community cards make winners out of longshots on a VERY consistent basis. And I'm not just talking about personal bad beats, but also hands were I caught two ridiculous cards in a row or have watched someone else get sucked out with 3 or less outs. I know it's poker and that happens. But compared with other sites (pokerstars, full tilt) that I've perused, it's just very odd. I'm not flaming on the site or critiquing all online poker as dubious. It's

well goodat least that means people are starting to comei mainly tournaments. especially $30+ multi tables. So I'd love to see it grow with poker players.

I just signed up and logged in with my money in hand. Then I looked at the number of players — 65. It was 10.30 EST. and I was pretty surprised. I'm used to between 10k to 15k over at pokerroom. I know Party Poker and Pokerstars have even more. How long do you think before the site starts to take off? and what could help it do so...

Hey guys.Just wondering if anyone knows if Poker Mt. is going to have eventual Mac support. Right now I'm playing Pokerroom.com because I have no option. The competition is pretty weak for the tourneys. I guess its like that early in the multis no matter where you go. Especially for five or ten bucks. I shouldn't complain since I've placed top 3 in multis 6 times since starting in December, winning two. Actually the main problem with pokerroom is the servers. They are so ill equip for the high number of players and the multis scheduled for every fifteen minutes. I've been in a couple tourneys

A single table sngEarly on, 7 players left. I'm first to act and see 4d-4hI am normally a very tight player, but I noticed there hadn't been a lot of preflop raising so I thought I'd give this small pair a shot and see if could hit my trips. Blinds were 25/50. I limp in and happily so do 5 of the other 6. So there is 300 in the pot. 6 playersFlop comes 4c - Jd - 10cAlright, I've hit my fours. Normally, I've been making it very difficult for people to stay in when I hit a big hand. I love trips and I know the flush draw is looming, so instead of winning a little pot I decide to just make a pot

Thanks for all the input, guys. Looks like I played it fine, but got caught up against a bigger hand. He didn't. I meant if I pushed preflop, would he have called with just A-Q. I would have cost him most of his stack with nothing but at best, two overcards.

I think you played it well. That was a borderline call from him. Too bad you were up against a bigger stack who felt he could take the hit if the board didn't flush out for him.

I think I played this pretty much by the book. But if anyone has any thoughts, I'd love to hear them. It's a little nl sng table on pokerstars. We were down to the last 4 players. Blinds were 200/400 w an ante. I'm in second place very close behind the leader.I hit pocket 8s on the button. The leader limps in front of me. I raise to 1200 (little over 1/4 of my stack). Both blinds fold. Leader calls. Fold hits Qs Qd Acleader checks. I figure he's probably got the ace. So I check.turn hits 8dHe bets 800. I've hit a boat and need to keep him from hitting the other ace, right? I'm ready to go all

I can't believe so many reputable poker players lend their names and time to that prehistoric site. I've been waiting over 2 days to get my lousy winnings back from them. It took them an entire day to release my request from their queue and that was only after I contacted them. Now it's been processing forever. Never had this problem with any other site. I can't figure out how they keep the few players they do have.Poker Stars here I come.

AMEN! I play in one weekly game where 80 percent are stoned. Takes forever. I can't play stoned. I enjoy smoking weed, but I learned I can't make good reads or steal pots when I'm too baked. Not to mention trying to figure out implied odds. If the cards go unlucky and I'm out of the tourney early, then I hit the bong.
