I love this site, but this is ridiculous. What's the second best site out there for sit-n-go's? Good structures?? Poker Stars?

When I play single or multi table tourneys, which I do on a regular basis, many times my good friends, who are great poker players, will sit next to me and watch. Sometimes I do ask for there opinion and we make a "group" decision if you will. Here's my question...Am I cheating then? I have won many tournaments like this and am honestly just curious of what you guys think? Am I missing it? I for one think there is nothing wrong with it and it is not COLLUSION....haha go easy on me....Nate

Hey guys (and girls),I won a satellite into my biggest tourney yet coming up next month. Its the Southern Classic in Biloxi ($1000 buy in, 300-400 people). Ive played in lots of smaller tourneys and done fairly well. This is my first tourney where it doesn't become a 'Move-in' tourney after the first hour....I hate those. With this one, you get 7000 in chips and 45 minute blind levels starting at 25-50. Here is my question, What are some good ways you guys like to build your stack? I mean I usually just wait for my cards to come (seems to be the smartest) and pick up small pots. If the cards d

Hey everyone...I'm a tourney player...been playing for about a year seriously now...I know I alot about tourney play and can usually do fairly well. I'm a pretty good short stack player...WITH THAT SAID...I live near Biloxi, MS...And I can only find a few good weekly tourneys there (45-70 dollar buy ins). They only tourneys down there have a very fast blind structure:5000 in chips 15 minutes blind changes25-5050-100100-200200-400 NOT BAD UNTIL HERE**BREAK***jumps all the way to 500-1000!!!1000-20002000-40003000-6000As you can see if you dont have a big stack after the first hour...your reall

a "new" theory regarding how to play a flopped set
nayblay replied to JeremyG's topic in General Poker Forum
First of all, your opponent is not on a flush draw all the time... I've been expiramenting with with this when someone raises before the flop and then I call and hit my set. I LIKE GOING ALL IN HERE...FLUSH DRAW OR NOT. This looks like 1)your making a move at the pot 2) If an opponent has an overpair or top pair good kicker, I have seen some call instantly and get killed. I like your post man, keep it up....Does that make sense?
