  1. BIG WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY..... DON'T BOTHER!!!First Off, I purchased the DVD from Suncoast. When I tried to play it it was a misprinted It was actually "the secrets to Online Poker..Blah." I watched it and took it back...tried again...re-ordered and...Same thing....took it back reordered the "whole" series to make sure we got it right. I watched all of them...(Luckly only had to pay for the one!) It's all the same thing. Same clips with the same BLAH!Just like his books he spends more time TOOTING his own HORN, than given us any usefull information. Make a Million Dollars using a Poker Syste
  2. I live in North Flordia in the exciting capital city. I had heard that there was a few card rooms close. Jasper and at some Dog Park south of here. I looked them up and was excited to find that it wasnt a dream. Than a few days ago before taken a road trip to one of these places I did another web search and saw that they were shutting down the card rooms untill the legislature could do something. Not sure what??? Anyone know if they are still running the games, even if they are limit?
  3. Anyone catch the SNL "TV FUNHOUSE" Celeberty Poker bit? It was pretty funny. Dave Foley and Phil Gordon did the actual audio track. "Nick Nolte Raises all in" (Nolte Vomits.) If you missed it you should try to track it down. Poker further inbeds itself in the mainstream conscience with this skit, but it was a nice laugh.
  4. The Cincinnati Kid is one of my favorite movies of all time. I'm sure that the fact that it's a Card movie has alot to do with it. The biggest factor is that it's got the great Steve McQueen, now he is the "MAN."
  5. Shade was a rip of of the Cincinnati Kid. The writers must have knowingly taken/copied the McQueen Classic. The Professor = The ManThey even used the same ending. The 'Angry Texan' going after the pot after he was bluffed out. As I was watching the movie I kept thinking, "I've seen this before!" Two days later I put my 'Kid' copy in and knew where, I'd seen it. Doh!!The Mechanic tricks were fun to watch, and Jamie Fox is always a trip. Except when he went over board at the "High Stakes" table. I guess I'd give it a 6.5, because it did have a nice "F" you ending.
