  1. Well, to be fair this does protect people against the kind of scams a Joe Shmoe would run. Your regular forum scammer is not going to pay up for an ad placement. Wouldn't protect against more elaborate scammers like Annie Duke, but hey, there's a lot more Joe Shmoes than Annies. So it is a legit reason, albeit perhaps not the main one. Does telling half the truth make you a scumbag though?
  2. DN, Sure it's about money. What's wrong with that? If Joe wanted to plug his piece in a TV show, in a newspaper, or, say, in Google ads (have his podcast/charity at the top of Google searches) for free, and was turned down, would you say people turning him down were scumbags as well? Truth is, 2p2, and particularly NVG, is not that much different. Sure owners want to make money. They are fully entitled to this for creating a hugely successful internet poker hub. And yes, 2p2 is allowing ads for some questionable sites. They are not angels, but they still have way more ethic and morals than
