for the cardrunners videos, i would recommend he stays toward the lower stakes games because the higher ones are more advanced and would be over his head. he has to learn basic strategy first before the more advanced teachings at the higher levels at cardrunners.com.

I'll be in vegas during the mirage poker showdown and it says seating is free to the public, first come first serve. Does anyone know how early in advance I should get there to get good seating?

the best is trying to double up in a freeroll and then sit out and see where you eventually end uptried it once on ub, signed up for a freeroll for bonus dollars at 2am, just sat out...woke up the next morning and saw i ended up getting like 200th or so out of 2000...30 places short of money...something like that

got 2nd, after all the delays and whatever we got back to it, i doubled up once and then got overly aggressive. i had to though because he was ultra-aggressive. i just ran into a hand. oh well, thanks to all who railed. i hope to do well in many more tourneys.

im currently chip leader with 70,000 chips at ub's $20 1pm tourney, come rail melost a decent pot, down to 55k, still chip leader

he did have a pair...of 9s...so he had some chances to win....very little, but i've flopped the nut straight before, had someone call my pot bet with aces only hit an ace on the turn and the board paired on the river...but whatever, nice hand!

the money you invested is already dead, by disconnecting, you're hoping to hit 2 pair or trips. or you may not be sure you're behind and by doing this, you get the hand shown down.

I reported someone on UB for doing that once. he had said earlier in the game that he should have done it. the guy actually admitted that he does it. then when i get in a hand with him, i have AA, he raises preflop like he's been doing, i reraise and he calls. on a flop of Qxx i push the rest of my stack and he disconnects. he had Q8 and probably thought i had an overpair at that point. i reported him and told UB to look at the chat to see how he had said he should have purposely disconnected. they said that it does look suspicious but can't be sure, but they said they'd keep an eye on h
