  1. I was thinking about the same thing too the other day as to how much most pro's net overall after buy-ings spent , hotels etc.Remember too that buyins for live events will be off for the following reasons:1)Some of them qualify at the one table SNG's for the big events so the buy-in for a $10k event may only have cost them $1k-$4k depending how long it took them to get a seat.2) side deals and backers that players have with each other will impact their net. 3) events that are paid for them by sponsors.I'm sure its easy to estimate that many pro's spend $100k-$400k on buyings each year at the v
  2. Daniel , the Dexter video blog was excellent. Dexter was hilarious and you nailed it. I would go as far as saying that its funnier then most current skits on Saturday Night Live or MadTV. I grew up in Toronto and had many Jamaican , Asian, Iranian, Italian friends and guess we are more tolerant when it comes to race relations. I'm an immigrant and use to manage one of the charity casinos that you and Evelyn played at back then and I know none of the Jamaican players would have been upset, since we'd joke about similar things as well.I know that in Canada we are such a melting pot of national

For any of you that qualified for the Monster tournaments, unfortunately they have been cancelled. On the bright side, Party has distributed that money.I had qualified for the Monthly Million and 2 weeklies which i have already played in.The Montlhy Million Tournie has a cash equivalent of $350.09Its available to all players in US and others. 4. Wow that will be drastic..Wonder what will happen to party poker stock next week or the week after.I'll bet it drops well under 100You can follow price at this link if you are interested.http://finance.yahoo.com/q?d=t&s=PRTY.LWithout the US business there is no way they will make any where near the sales they are doing now.Not sure what will happen with Canadian accounts. For now seems like nothingwill affect us but we may also see a major drop in big tournie sign ups since if someone in US gets in the money they will have to worry about getting paid along with losing the entry fee. What wi

  6. I'm watching the protege show now and I'm actually impressed that they did a great job on it.. I've watched about 1/2 of it and Daniel giving great commentary.I will tell you what happened to Jerry....lol If you don't want to know then don't read on!!!!!!=================================================They had a hidden camera while Daniel was talking to him and basically he offered Jerry the option of taking $1,000 and leaving or continuing in the game.Jerry very quickly took the $ and made it an easy decision.I did not understand why he took it since if you don't at least give it 100% then
  7. Those bad beats i've learned are part of the game...I had one night on $20/40 On Party that had in one session had pocket AA's 8 times.. i lost 6 out of 8all big pots. Now its incredible to get AA that many times on 1 table in one session but to lose that many times is disastrous. Never had that happenbefore or since. The 2 that I did win , I was only able to win the blinds. The hands were mostly heads up on a full table and lost to hands like78 off22K7J5rarely was out outflopped with the exception of the 22s and most wereturn or river.it was just disasterousLost about $3,000 that night but a we
  8. Bought a Panasonic Plasma TV a few months back.Came 3rd in one of the $100k Freerolls on Party Poker for $8,000.Forget the Free Tshirts... LOL I prefer to use my points for the FreerollsMy biggest online win was last Father's Day for $21,000 inthe $200k Tournie came in 3rd in that one too.Just qualified tonight for the Cadillac Escalade Tournie so we'll see how that goes. Was easy tournie to qualify for top 250 qualify and only 522 entered for some reason. I got 111th.All the best...see u at the tables
