Just got tickets for RTJ. Local radio station does a lot of smaller shows and they're headlining this one.

So it was an interesting crypto weekend. A friend called me Friday and asked if I had 9btc available to sell to a friend of his. His friend worked for a county government revenue office that got hit by ransomware. They needed 9btc by Monday morning. As of that time, it was about $3750/btc and thus worth around $34k - not an easy amount to obtain on short notice. Anyway, told him I wasn't really looking to sell...that I could do $1.2k. On Saturday, they offered to pay me $5k/btc. That offer was too sweet to turn down, so I liquidated 90% of my entire crypto portfolio over the next day and found the full amount. Have spent the past few days trying to then buy back in...which I've almost completed. BTC went up a smidge in the meantime but fairly inconsequential. Sadly my second heaviest crypto decided to randomly jump 25%, so that's irritating. Anyway, was still a decent pickup for a weekend.

It's true

So now the wife is grilling the roommate for details, when did sex start, how often. I think she confirmed that they were sleeping together, which of course the wife then lays into her about having sex with a married man. I told her that nothing good can come of further discussions, and hopefully she stops corresponding. This is why I probably would not have sent the letter to the wife to begin with.

I hope roommate is mentally preparing herself to be involved in divorce proceedings.

I couldn't tell if you were serious or not but apparently this is a thing. That makes me feel somewhat better, tbh.

My information's always good, and it most certainly is a thing. It's my sincerity that you should question, not my information.

I got into the habit of having 2-3 big pours after work. It took me too long to recognize how much damage the high proof alcohol was doing. The cavity was the wake up call, but after I cut back, I realized that the bigger problem was the sleep disruption. I brought back a little moderation, started measuring pours, and life improved quite a lot.

The experience reminded me of waking up to how fat I had gotten, and making a game out of the weight loss.

Thanks, brvy. I am having a good time up here. I don't think I mentioned it but Saturday a few of us had a BJ party where we went to my buddy's big garage and changed the oil in our cars and replaced the brakes (brake jobs hence BJ party) on a few of our cars. And then we blew each other.

So last time you went you weren't of an age to properly enjoy Vegas. I wouldn't use that previous experience to form any sort of metric for expectation or even basic planning.

I think maybe this trip would be the perfect thing to kind of squeegee the negativity off your aura, man. Do some shit you wouldn't normally consider doing like getting a straight razor shave and dropping a couple of bills on really good dinner spot. Maybe hit the high roller at dusk with the lady and a cocktail. Or maybe take her to zumanity, it's a fun burlesque style show that is funny and has some pretty amazing acrobatics plus boobs. Point being, do some stuff that takes you out of your daily grinder mindset for a couple days and you might be surprised how much better your perspective/drive is when you get back to it.

I talked to HR about it today, kind of just making a general point, not asking them to take action. It's stupid, I don't know where the boundaries are and don't care enough to make an issue out of it. He would be annoyed and I actually like the guy.

Passed the exam BTW. Internet Explorer, CFP
