I like how that sonofabitch JJJ stops posting, but magically 'has the time' to like this post. Screw you, JJJ.
Also, Ouch.

HJ is trying to steal very often here and is smart enough to know that the other players know that he is all in on any Flop that is checked to him and probably calling any bets if he is close to hitting. Little reason to believe he has a real hand here and if he does I can still win the side pot to make some money.
I have already called down BB with strong hands to make him show 10 high, Q high on River bluffs ... not sure why others are folding to him. The way he checked me out and the tanking led me to believe that he was weak and just wanted me out of the way. My feeling is that if he wanted some of his money back from me he would have flatted high pairs (or min raised so HJ was all-in) since he also knows the range on HJ is wide. So shoving actually showed weakness to me at the time.
It is very early in my session, so I am willing to risk this since I know I will have plenty of time to get it back on this table ... I am not worried about other callers since they would have re-raised me with any 88 or better.
Since this is a 3-way all-in, you must show cards in this room (heads up you dont) ... Both of them flip over AQ off ... yeah!! Ace on the Flop ... Boo!! 7 on the Turn ... thank you both very much you are now drawing dead!!
Although I consider this play to be 'extreme' for myself I was very pleased that I was willing to go with my read here ... which was that they probably had no more than 12 outs if I was up against AQ and KJ. As it turns out they were down to 4 outs AND HIT ONE!! I was just lucky enough to hit my 2-outer on them. This is typical bowling alley stuff that requires you to have a read on each player(s) in the hand and modify your game possibly each hand.
Any thoughts?? This is West Michigan stuff, but I hear the same stuff from Detroit area as well ... Odds calc shows I am only 62% pre-Flop which I thought I was better than that ... But as I indicated, I was willing to flip here for some reason. By the way, I got married on 7-7-2007, so I have a little 'attraction' to that hand!!
