  6. Yeah, sorry about that. Villain starts with $1535, and I cover him. Thanks for the comments, I agree that a flop re-raise would probably have been right. If I was going to bet the turn, a larger bet would have been necessary to at least make him define his hand. As I played it, he could be pushing with top pair, a draw, junk 2 pair, straight, or a pure bluff. I picked the worst possible route by calling then leading weak.
  7. My thinking on the flop was that he was on a draw of some kind. Most likely spades. I wanted to call then lead, but I dont think I bet nearly enough on the turn. I also could have check raised the turn, but that gives a free card to a flush/straight draw.
  8. This hand occurred in a 5-10 NL game the other day. It was a live game in the San Diego area. I was hoping to get a little help on it.5 handed.Hero in small blind. Live straddle to $20.Folded to hero who raises to $60 with TcTd from SB.BB folds, UTG (straddle) calls. UTG is fairly new to the game, but appears to be fairly loose aggressive.Flop: 3s 5s 8dHero bets $100. UTG raises to $225. Hero calls.Turn: 2cHero bets $250. UTG raises all-in for $1000 more.Hero?Any help would be appreciated, whether or not I should call here, or whether I should have done something different in the hand. Thanks
  9. The max bounty on FT is $200 so you only get $200 for knocking them out in the $1000 tourneys.
