#3588280 Thank You, Daniel

Good deal.

Usually Bob is only 6 months late, so this was longer than normal. But at least it wasn't a chip set...

he seems kind of mad.

Because he's too busy citing his "credentials" to realize that reading a book and reading a computer screen are not the same thing?

Sounds like an interesting guy. If you can manage not to change the channel during all the commercials.

Oh no, a guy that does nothing but pimp and talk about his own stuff isn't sticking around because its too hard to hit the enter button occasionally? A loss indeed.

What's sad is it appears he may have something semi-interesting to add, but that is negated by being incredibly self involved.

The main point of DN's that I can wholeheartedly agree with is his assertion that private debts should remain private, not to be adjudicated on Internet forums by gossip-mongers. While some think those who have shown themselves to be untrustworthy should be publicly outed in to order to save others from being victimized, I think people should be more vigilant with their money/lending practices and refuse to lend money unless they can be assured that they will be repaid, not just because the prospective borrower was on tv a couple times and has a good reputation.

Private debts should remain private as long as both parties conduct themselves with honor. But in EL's instance this post is a huge fail. Warning people about a thief's inclination towards theft is the very essence of the vigilance you advocate, not gossip.

How many more people in the poker world would EL be continuing to victimize without this "gossip"?

If no posts had ever been made about EL's behavior but you had heard about it anyway and a friend told you he was about to spot EL $25K, would you "gossip" or just let your friend get jobbed because they lacked vigilance?

Truly amazing how some seem to see more fault in the people pointing at the despicable thief/deadbeat than they do in the despicable thief/deadbeat.

DN,

Sure it's about money. What's wrong with that? If Joe wanted to plug his piece in a TV show, in a newspaper, or, say, in Google ads (have his podcast/charity at the top of Google searches) for free, and was turned down, would you say people turning him down were scumbags as well? Truth is, 2p2, and particularly NVG, is not that much different. Sure owners want to make money. They are fully entitled to this for creating a hugely successful internet poker hub. And yes, 2p2 is allowing ads for some questionable sites. They are not angels, but they still have way more ethic and morals than 90% of the poker sites out there: they never advertised UB after the scandal, they shut down the site when the passwords were compromised, etc, etc. They could've probably handled the situation better and be a bit more polite and professional. Mason was never known for being gracious and diplomatic. Does this make him a scumbag though?

Because he is flat out lying? If it's all about money, which is obvious, then just admit and stop trying to convince people that it's to protect people from getting scammed by an illegitimate charity. That's not true at all. If they paid for advertising they wouldn't give a crap if the charity was legit, as long as they get paid.

Venessa Selbst is one of the most aggressive players out there and a 4 bet from her can be a very large range.

TrueI don't think we should forget that the DOJ stumbled onto the FullTilt financial debacle and that FT's finances had nothing to do with BlackFriday. The DOJ is acting like it is protecting consumers from a ponzi scheme when in fact the DOJ played a part in reaming those consumers.
Talk about an ignorant statement. Lederer, Ferguson, and Bitar all drained the players money to pay themselves bonuses and dividends and over pay for Poker shows sponsorship pros and you say that wasn't stealing. Not only that they continued to accept money after black Friday knowing that it would never be paid back. You blame the DOJ for doing their job? I guess you'd have been happy with never discovering you'd been playing with monopoly money on Full Shits...

My theory is that Mike Sexton pummeled Sam Trickett for showing up to the game in surfing attire. Tricket made up the 6 guys for street cred.
