  1. Im having a hell of a time right now with my game. I have went from one extreme to the other, I use to play way to tight and timmed but in the last 6 months or so I have been playing way to lose. I am trying to find a happy medium but it seems like im having trouble shifting gears. If anyone has any advice on how I can come to a level place with my game I would love to hear it!
  2. I have not used it much yet but you can also go to cardplayer.com, they have a tracker and it is free.
  3. The best hand in Omaha hi is AAJT double suited and the best hand in Omaha hi/lo is AA23 double suited! preflop of course!
  4. I use to play pool a lot and it is very comman for people to get staked. There seems to be a give and take thing with it, for one in pool anyway the person who is staking you usally either has a great respect for your game or is not a good player and still wants to be involed in the action. And most of the time in pool there is a lot less chance that if you match up right that you will lose, so there for its not really gambling. But in poker anyone can have a bad night so I think that it is a lot more risky to stake someone!
  5. I am also a dealer and so of course this will be a little one sided! ErickM made a ton of good points and The Vegas King well I would not go as far as to say that he made any good points but he is intitled to his opinion. If you don't think that you should have to pay for good dealers then why do you think that they would take pride in there work and do a good job?I could see that if there was a dealer who was not good at his job and showed no sign of trying to improve, that you might not want to tip him because of the service that you received. Just like if I go out to eat and the waiter doe
  6. It is always fun when you hit the zone and things just seem to click like that! I played in the PS tourny that wrto4556 held. I played almost perfect until I got A K the blinds were $100-$200 with a $25 ante I was one away from the button and there was just one caller other than the blinds. I made it $1000 to go and got one caller, the flop was Q T 3 he went all in for like $1995 I thought about it for a min. and called. My thought was that he might have had a small pair and put me on AK but at any rate it was a BAD call! He had K Q The turn was the 4 and the river was the 7 :oop
  7. This isn't a bad beat story or anything but, I went to this site and decided after seeing the 100% bonus offer. That I would put $100 in and check it out. I figured that it would be worth it if they were going to give me a free $100. Right? away I was disappointed in the site, they only have hold'em and there are no sit n goes. Plus there were never that many people playing and the games were pretty low limits. So anyway the thing that really got me was that after I played for a little while I got curious as to how many hands I would have to play before getting my free $100. So I went to the c
  8. Here is the thing I live in Denver and the casino's out here have a $5 max bet on everything so there alot of social clubs and that is were I play. I know that $20/$40 and $2-$5 no limit are way differnt games but right now those are the games being spread at the clubs that I go to. And I have not been fairing well in either of these games as of late. I think that when you run bad you run bad and there is no cure for it other than to limit the amount that you lose when this happens.
  9. O.K. First of all thanks for all the responce! I think that I kinda thought that I might here alot of "Oh your just not good enough" and "You should'nt be playing that high of limits" But none of you know me or how well or poor I play so I don't think that you can base any of your thoughts on that part of it! I really can't belive that there are so many people that think that luck is not a factor in this game at all. Two people could play the same hand the same way and get differnt results! Do you think that is true?
  10. I know that I will get alot of grief about this but here it goes anyway! I play alot of hold'em, in games anywere from$20-$40 to $2-$5 no limit and I must say that I am very unhappy with the way things have gone for me. If skill is such a big part of this game why is it that when I'm "running good" I win and when I'm not I lose? I am not saying that everytime I lose that it is because I am unlucky! I know that there are times when it is because I miss play the hand or do not have my head in the game, but over all there are plenty of times when I do everything right and still end up loser. Help
