Do you have any poker friends getting out of jail soon? You'll get back in poker even if you think now that you don't want to.I am sure you can get all your money back in one session. You just need the right motivation.

I don't think that the board pairing on the turn is bad for an over pair. Indeed it is the opposite, that is a pretty safe card. You checked twice which usually means you are on a draw or you flopped a monster like a set in this case and you are slow playing. He read you as weak and on a draw and had the balls to follow through. You obviously didn't have an overpair or you would have lead or check-raised on the flop to protect your hand. You played the hand as bad is it can be played.

I have been playing Razz lately and I am really hooked on it. I have a trip to Vegas coming up. Does anybody know if any casinos have a low stakes Razz game going on? I am thinking 2/4 or 3/6. What about Horse?

I was wondering if it wouldn't be better to get credit at a Casino to play poker instead of taking a bunch of cash to Vegas. Does anybody have any first hand experience with this? Is there any fees? I guess I you have a good session and just would just borrowing the money for a few hours. I guess in the end you would be walking around with your winnings. Does anybody know if a casino would make a direct deposit to your bank?

I don't think that setting a minimum or maximum time makes sense. You should continue playing if the game is good and stop if it isn't or you start playing bad. In the end it is all one big game. The only problem with playing when you only have limited amount of time (during lunch, etc.) is that you might be forced to leave a good game.

I got like 75 bucks from them for Party Poker a long time ago. I think I had to call somebody and they asked a bunch of questions but I didn't have to fax them anything and I didn't have to answers any questions I wasn't comfortable with. The only thing I didn't like is that they asked me my login information to login as me and make the deposit. The good thing is that it was a brand new account and I changed the password right after they did the deposit. This was like 2 years ago and I never had any problems.

Yes, it is a crypto skin. I have an inter poker account too and I haven't heard anything from them yet.

Flipping Up Your Cards To Get A Read In A Tournament
abydos replied to CBFalcon's topic in General Poker Forum
It really depends on the rules for the tournament or cash game. I play in a card room where a player is allowed to flip up his cards when nobody else can act after him. That is everybody in the hand is all in. I think to be safe you should always confirm if it is allowed to do this before you do whether it is a cash game or not.We might not agree with some rules but if it is a published rule for the game then you have to abide by it whatever it is. -
The room that I stayed at the Aladdin (now or soon to be Planet Hollywood) last time was definately affordable and above average. It also has a great mid-strip location.Don't know where you are flying from but check for prices on Southwest Vacations.Good Luck and have fun.

I agree with you. I saw the HSP show and this situation a little bit different because there was a call on the river. So, even if the other player mucks the winning hand has to be shown. I have seen this happen on other shows and it makes sense. I also understand that any player at the table can ask to see the winning hand, even though is consider bad etiquette, in an attempt to prevent collusion.I also know that you must show both cards in any showdown situation even if a single card makes the nuts and the other card is meaninglessMy only objection is that people quote the rule "show one,
