I think I would probably just call the raise preflop. Reraising preflop might get rid of some of the players, but when you get called you are still out of position. Another downside is that you have pretty muched telegraphed your hand to your opponent. The combination of him "knowing" what you have and having position on you opens up a lot of bluffing oppurtunities for him on flops that aren't likely to hit aces. I don't know the tendency of your opponents, but if you feel either of them is aggressive enough to bet out if checked to them this could be an oppurtunity to go for a check raise. You figure to have the best hand now and have a good amount of outs. I think if you're going to be playing a shortstack you're better off trying to get all your money in preflop w/ a big hand, or try and check raise the flop with the intention of getting all your money in. I was running really well until a few days ago when variance kicked in and I started making stupid plays. This little hand just topped off a terrible run of cards for me. I'm having trouble playing my big hands when I have a lot of money in front of me. If I was shortstacked I'd get all my money in on the flop, but in this situation even after I pot the flop there is still a lot of money. I put villain on at least top two maybe w/ some kind of draw. I ruled out a set because I assume he would have reraised me on the flop. Should I play this more passively since I can't get all my money in on the flop? I'm having a little trouble towards the end of SnG's. I feel I shouldn't call his all-in in this situation because it's not worth losing that much of my stack for a coinflip. Should I fold to the all in despite the pot odds to protect my stack or should I push in on him preflop? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for the feedback. I figured if I checked the turn he would bet hoping to take it down and I'd end up calling anyway. I thought it would be better to bet the pot myself because there is always the chance he might fold and I'll win it outright.

In this hand I got excited on the turn when i picked up all the extra outs and just jammed all my money in. I put him on a set and figured, I was almost even money to win on the river. I thought this would give me the best chance to win the pot outright, because it didn't seem like he'd fold to a smaller bet. Is this play ok? Is there a way to play this without risking all my money? I found the advanced section of the dvd very useful. After watching it I started playing and placed 2nd and 1st in two sng's. I've been playing terrible lately, but I seemed to have regained confidence from watching it and learned some new strategies as well.
