#3758693 What Is The Last Movie You Saw?

Posted Dubey on 05 June 2017 - 09:09 AM

John Wick 2

god damn. This somehow surpassed my expectations. I deeply regret not seeing this in theatres. I hope Keanu Reaves makes nothing but John Wick sequels for the rest of his career.

How are you always lurking in the shadows, BigD? That's impressive.

I'm not always in the shadows. I just check the website once or twice a day. Which pretty much means, I check this thread once or twice a day. I just don't always comment because most of it is about Austin's boring life and not something interesting like Shake.

nothing? have you tried sex?

Maybe having sex while reading your top 10 thread and listening to Sean Spicer stand in front of the media and whine about "fake news" while not being able to come up with a single example when asked

I'm half chub just thinking about it.

One of my earliest interactions with Tilty was implying he and his wife were sexually incompatible, becasue she wouldn't give him anal while his mother was living with them or something. With a little more experience, I get where he was coming from. This weekend, my partner and I were staying with xer family. Everything seemed normal, but then we got to the part of the night where we'd normally jump on Craig's List and find a stranger for xer to bang, xe got all weird and didn't want to do it in xer dad's house. I felt like I was going to explode for like four days.

are we sure irregardless is a word? i'm not sure its a real word but i'm not gonna google it.

just made it home from the des moines. that drive is pretty bleak. a deer flashed across the north bound lanes and made it into the median when i saw him and started to swerve into the right lane but the fvcker stopped before coming into south bound traffic. nearly died fellas. really makes you appreciate the little things, you know?

it is not, nor should it ever be. I think its usage has become tolerated because illiterate, mouth breathing, morons far out number even semi-erudite people that are trying to stave off the collapse of western civilization. For the rest of my days if someone says that word to me I will judge that person to be inferior and an appropriate target for my contempt. Much as I do when I hear the words "I seen...."

It's a real word in the way that all words are just a mutually agreed upon organization of sounds that we use to communicate verbally.

The barbarians are at the gates.

Dogs really don't sound fun to me. But maybe I'm missing out.

I mean what's to tell. She's a work friend, and she's my assistant basically, but we were in school together (she's an attorney) and I helped get her the job. Most days we just go to chipotle for lunch and shoot the shit. She's actually interviewing for another job today but we still have a chance to keep her, but I'm afraid our company is too big and too dumb to realize it. That's life.

Not much else going on for me. I've cut out soda altogether and am basically to no sweets either. Lost 5 pounds or so from that and I wanna start exercising more, but im very lazy and very pathetic so I'm struggling with that part. But one step at a time they say.

I saw guardians of the galaxy 2, if didn't mention that. Good movie. Very funny. Marvel does it right.

I quoted this to give you a heads up but Napla got ya covered with the card breach info.

Sorry for the lack of content (even more than usual) from me, I've been in Denver the last few days. Had to drive out kind of unexpectedly with my aunt, uncle, and dad to grab the family heirlooms in preparation to put my grandpa's house on the market. That place is crazy. He let this house go to shit (leaking roof, absolutely filthy, rotted gutters, porch warped, minor pipe leaks etc) and the realtors are listing for 411k and they said they expect it to sell quickly. They showed us a comp a couple blocks away that was similar condition for same price that went on the market 5/23 and went under contract the same day, so fingers crossed. He bought the house in like 1958 for 12k. Unfortunately, gramps didn't listen to us and protect his assets a few years ago but now that he's in a nursing home it's too late. Most likely all of what's left after taxes etc is going to go to the nursing home. Damn shame to see a lifetime of history and family reduced to basically a single uhaul truck making for the Nebraska state line.

That awkward moment when Trump both bows and curtsies, showing that Republicans are total hypocrites yet again.

I'm a #NeverTrumper but this is pretty stupid. There was no bow anywhere in the video, and during the supposed "curtsy" Trump was just getting a medal put around his neck by a guy about a 1/2 foot shorter than him, and then readjusting it by moving up and down. He's not even looking at him when he does this supposed bow/curtsy. This kind of stuff was so stupid when the republicans did it to Obama, and it's equally stupid now.

So far, no luck.

Emily Blount in Edge of Tomorrow is a treat. This is a very underrated movie. I see they're making a second. Hopefully that one lives up to the first.

I know I wasn't addressed, but how does your new companies HSA work? Is it a use it or lose it situation? Does any roll over year to year?

You probably weren't addressed because you don't know the difference between a HSA and a FSA.

HSA money is yours forever and is tax free when you put it in, any interest earned is also tax free, and any withdrawals used for qualified expenses are tax and penalty free. Basically a 401(k) except strictly for medical expenses until your retire.
