its embarrassing to look at the state of my landscaping, i'm afraid. somethings gotta be done and soon as we get to fall i will do it. no plans but the casino, it's all i have and the only thing i look forward to all week. i have a call with my boss in 20 minutes to talk about changes to the coverage map, your boy here is getting assigned more work. i guess that means im doing well, but damn i just want to retire already. im off to do confess my sins and ask for forgiveness before the meeting

i'll probably do it in 2031 when i get a new car, but who knows. thats a long damn time from now. good luck with those hedges. my yard is in complete chaos with weeds. theyve sprouted up and are destroying my landscaping and yard. and to tell you the truth i dont have the energy to take care of it. its sad really. i'll be moving to a mainteannce free community at some point, i hate yard work with a burning passion.

depending on how fast tech advances in the next 5 years we may have no choice but to go electric in the 2030s. but that is probably optimistic on timeline. i dont have anything against an electric car. just want one that looks cool as hell and gets the ladies smiling. but i plan to keep my current car for at least 4 more years. she only has 26k miles and is a smooth ride, so it should be no problem. i have had my eyes on the porsche macan though. but that would be stupid when i can just take that money and invest it and try to retire earlier. of course should i die before retirme

it's absolutely insane that oppenheimer didnt win best adapted screenplay. the structure of the movie and the dialogue is amazing. the oscars are so stupid but i can't stop getting pissed about it. same with the emmys and true detective not winning. and better call saul never winning. these award shows are so ridiculous.

ive been card dead for what feels like weeks, but its really like 20 hours of play. which is nothing. i think im playing better than ever though, so that's something. i love the dark, i was born into it, most have merely adopted it. the light is nothing to me. they put oppenheimer back on peacock. what a movie.

fall is my favorite time of the year, when the weather cools down and we have football in full swing. i did go to the casino both nights, won 16 total. i was pretty card dead the whole time but fought through it. i made a few bad calls though so it should have been double that. but it was tough to stay patient.

foot surgery sounds so awful. double foot surgery is gonna have you in the recliner all fall and into the winter. gotta make a list of the great movies you haven't seen and knock them out, maybe keep a running diary like thera did but wihtout the ridiculous sandra bullock hate. i keep seeing master and commander clips on twitter. i need to watch that again soon, one of the best of the last 25 years. you'll also have football season at least. will you get to work from home the whole time?

i feel bad because society has been telling me to feel bad all my life. i blame the media. no plans really, dog sitting rigjht now so we're just relaxing and eating and walking. might go to the casino tomorrow night, we'll see. just the usual nonsense.

it was an artificial intelligence seminar where 'subject matter experts' explain their day to day use of the systems to the tech geeks so they can better integrate ai into our systems. complete waste of my time as i said nothing the whole time and even dropped off for 40 minutes to fix my work phone with a different tech geek. but i get paid the same either way, so its all gravy fritzy baby. the yoga pants and shorts trend is completely out of control though. i guess i shouldnt feel bad for staring, its like a great painting or a sunset, something meant to be seen.

something's gotta be done about hot women wearing spandex shorts to target. im now an old man who stares and that is only going to get worse as time goes on. it's mesmerizing up there.

there's a gap in the road up ahead...it's big. the movie is UNTOUCHABLE and so is Sandy Bullock. I had to be on a four hour zoom this morning and i nearly lost the will to live. good news is there are new developments in our AI infrastructure to help streamline efficiency. i havent watched hard knocks in years but i might this year, im hearing good things.
-
they did speed again on the rewachables and the foremost movie critics of our time all agreed that sandra bullock was incredible in the movie. thera has to be shaking his fists angrily at the sky right now. i didnt care for simmons criticizing the bus jump so much though, it was perfectly reasonable and accurate and not at all ridiculous.

it's just a personal bias, i'm not buying him as action star. but maybe i dont buy him as anything but Saul Goodman now. that character is so iconic and perfect that he may be ruined for other roles like tony soprano. i havent been on a run in 22 years, so you're doing just fine. a good walk is all i need in my old age. i'm really struggling with motivation to work the last week or two. i'm not sure what is different but i just cannot focus and don't really care. i'm not sure how the hell im going to do this for another 15 to 20 years.

not accumulating junk should be easy but its so damn hard. good news is i have no problem throwing things away so when i do move a lot of stuff will be trashed. i havent watched bobby o's action movie. im jsut not really buying it from him.
