  1. If you go to the UB website, you will see an area under "download" that is for Mac users. You must download virtual pc first, and then download the UB software. To use the software, you have to go through virtual pc.
  2. Actually, i believe Dniel had 10 3 and the flop was 2 3 Q, turn Q and river Q. Freddy bet at the river and daniel mucked, but I don't remember if freddy bet the flop. If he did, daniel may have gotten his read there.
  3. Hey, I live in boston and am a student at Berklee College of Music. I'm down for any limit regular game, and if whoever posted the info about clubs in chinatown, if you could tell me where some of these clubs are, that would be great as well. I'm definatly looking for any sort of game, from Draw w/ Joker to Omaha hi/lo to hold'em, any game will do. And If I could check out some of the clubs, thatd be phenominal as well, I don't live too too far from china town. Thanks.
  4. I have been in a rut in the last couple months, not of really being stagnant, but the one where, if playing no limit, i lose all my races, overcards w/ flush draw and all. Really, you must analyze your game and see if this stagnant period is due to a change of style or a mistake in your game. You must now focus on getting the most money out of your opponents in every hand you play. Instead of betting in to a player on the turn, would it be best to check raise, and check raise how much?...and so on. That usually helps my post-flop, post-3rd street, post-draw play and if i'm stagnant on profits,
  5. I recently moved to boston and am looking for a game, any stakes really. If anyone plays in one or knows of one, just reply. I know this would go in the B&M section, but I know it will get more attention here. Thanks for dealing. G'day.
  6. This is an unanswerable question. It depends on the hands you are up against. If you are up against Jh10h, and the flop is 9h 8h 3c, youll get them cracked 52% of the time. Really, this question cannot be mathematically answered. And its useless to talk about bad beats. While wiriting this i just recieved one. Everyone gets their Aces and Kings cracked. I once went on a streak of losing with Aces to runner runner. A streak of that is rare, so just move on. It happens. But there is no answer to your question.
  7. I don't really consider poker gambling, though i know there is some gambling involved. I consider it a game, with gambling undertones, i guess would be the best way to put it. The most gambling I do is a race, or overcards + a draw, thats a race though too. I usually know what everyone in my game has, and I have reads on most all of them. Really, there is not a lot of gambling involved. Low stakes, like $5/$10 you will see some "gambling" cause people make mistakes. But if you play the higher stakes, and the limit games, you will understand what people are saying when they don't consider it ga
  8. I must say, even though i love poker, I think they should not do that. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I love the NHL and think the strike should end ASAP (hell, it shouldnt have happened) but negotiations must be made. The future of the NHL depends on these negotiations, and also future negotiations. The fate of the league should not rest in Federov's pocket cards, or anyone else's. Maybe if it was Negreanu vs. some anti-hockey guy, Id go for it, cause i love hockey and were a sure win there. But the Players and League Reps and such should definatly not do that. Also, i t
  9. First, I will not come into a pot with a player like you unless i have position on you. Secondly, I will probably put you on a top ten hand and i will not call unless my hand has some or many possibilities. I won't call with 9 3 offsuit. In fact, i wont even call you much. I will make it 3 bets with J 10s, 67s, 10 8s and so on. I want it to be heads up against you and me. I do leave myself open for a re-raise, but that is ok. If its a NL game, ill probably just call to see a flop. It depends on the other players and my table image. And ill take it from there. Ill usually have a good idea what
