I'd comment that it's unlikely that the hero is f-ing around on this flop with AK or a hand worse than yours. If you think that he might fold if you push or raise, then push or raise. If you wanna gamble, put your chips in there. the buy in at AP is doubled, so max buy in at .25 .50 is 100$. that makes 256 a lot less impressive, although still obviously good.
