I thought Batman Begins was pretty damn good, and probably the best of all them. It would be stupid to try to rehash that manifestation of the character since Jack did it so well and so memorably. I'm very interested to see where they take the character. I'm very open minded right now and willing to accept many different versions (within reason). I think Heath is a great actor and I hope he puts the effort into this character that is necessary to make it work. For now, at least, I'm optimistic. Link to post Share on other sites

I never ahve shoplifted DVDs, but in my anarchistic youth, I shoplifted insane amounts of books from bandn. I won't give a estimate of how much, because I doubt you would believe it.. I would donate books to "books for prisioners" like zinn and chomsky.. I styled myself as quite the anti-antiestablishmentarian in those days... my politics and behavior have mellowed a lot since those days, but its really amazing what a clean cut, average looking white male can get away with w/r/t shoplifting, since we fit exactly zero of the profiles. I knew a kid who paid for college shoplifting crazy stuff from places like wal mart.. he invented a key ( I never saw it) that could open those glass cases that held video games, cameras, mobile phones, ect.. He'd hang out in a store with a friend and keep tossing something like a hoody back and forth for a while. So they slip the CD into the hoody and on the way out toss it to the other over the sensors.
