Cold-call? 3-bet? Or is just folding and saving myself the worry not as bad as I think it is?

Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Hand 1 is fine.Hand 2: do not fold AQs to a raise. Call here, unless you have played with raiser a bit and know he has loose raising standards, in which case you 3-bet.

I'd 3bet to isolate w/AQs, or flat call, but folding doesn't cross my mind at all

Okay, I was pretty sure I'd played Hand 1 properly..it was just one of those "You had WHAT?!...and he had HUH?!?" moments come showdown.I'll note the advice for Hand 2. I think there was some other reason I had folded it (Something about having just been involved in a few pots and not wanting to create a maniacal table image or something. admittedlypretty silly thinking on my part), but I know not to now. What if it was AQo? would folding be a viable option then?

Yes, folding AQo to a raise is viable, in fact it's probably good unless you're playing against a complete maniac
