simo_8ball 1
raise/call flop instead of shoving? Why? Don't give him a chance to get scared by a club or something on the turn. Get the money in now.
ahosang 0
Shove - you're only a dog if he has str8+flush draw(higher), and then you're still about 47% unless he has 1 or both of the str8-flush outs in his hand.Against a naked str8(plus pair), you're a favourite, and you're always live for both turn and river. NoBBiR 0
This is pretty much a no brainer. Regardless of what he has, this is just a hand where you've got to get the money in and hope you hold up when you have the best chance to win (even though you probably don't have the best hand necessarily). Even against a better flushdraw, overpair, and the made straight (which is like his dream hand against you) you're only 40/51 with a 9 percent chance to tie. Gotta get it all in on the flop
