raise the turn?

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 max, 10 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is UTG+1 with [Ad], [Ah]. 1 fold, BB calls.Flop: (6.50 SB) [6h], [8d], [4c] (4 players)BB checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls, BB folds.Turn: (4.25 BB) [7d] (3 players)Hero bets...You'll probably deduce from my posting this how the hand turned out, but should I have raised the turn here?

Really can't. Any 5 or pocket 7's and you're drawing virtually deadOn the other hand, you have to call the turn raise, and probably one more on the river

Which is, hilariously, exactly what I did.He had Q9 and hit his 5 on the river for the higher straight.I was pretty surpried.

That wont help at all....unless A :D 6 :D 7 :) K :club: is a flush. :-)
when I want it to be a flush, I say its a frush, damnit. hmmmm maybe that's why I've lost some $$$ on that, lol. I think I had just woke up when I wrote that :D

while it was a bit of a slip up mentioning the diamond, it still helps. with the flush draw on the board, it should put some caution on the other guy, and if he has indeed made his straight, he may be looking to CR, leaving you the option to get out without losing as much money.
