PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)

loose-passive chip leader (t6440)
Button (t3170)
SB (t1185)
Hero (t2705)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K icon_suit_diamond.gif , J icon_suit_diamond.gif .
loose-passive chip leader calls t400, 2 folds, Hero checks.

Flop: (t875) 4 icon_suit_spade.gif , 8 icon_suit_diamond.gif , J icon_suit_club.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, loose-passive chip leader bets t400, Hero raises to t2280, loose-passive chip leader calls t1880.

I feel I played this hand about as bad as it gets. Anyone with me in this opinion?

I probably shove preflop but given you checked, I play the flop the same.

Seeing as the SB has 2.5 BB left, I *guess* you could fold this. You can't just check call because that'll cost you everything anyway. But realistically you should just push the flop. If you're unlucky enough to run into AJ or something like J8s, oh well. I'm ok with checking preflop though because if this flop misses us, we can get away and sneak in if SB busts.
