cubbybri 0
First online game in some time. Trying to get the feel back so was playing tighter than usual VPIP 22% PFR 11% Total AF 2.00. I have gotten to this point by winning two hands with weak full houses on some scary boards. Probably should have more chips but meekly made bets on the river in both hands. COuld have got more value but that may be another post. In any case, I have shown down all geat hands.(preflop both times with mid to low pairs)This was hand 60.Villain's numbers were VPIP 29% PFR 3% total AF 0.52. In last 2 circuits I had seen him starting to get more aggro post flop and was caught in a bluff(Raised with T7 and raised flop gutshot then checked turn, bet river stone cold.)Ultimate BetNo Limit Holdem Ring gameBlinds: $30./$60.5 playersConverterBlankface900 is at seat 0 with 4230.luuuuuke is at seat 2 with 975.Zakkenroller is at seat 5 with 3240.SmokeJT05 is at seat 7 with 3050.cubbybri is at seat 9 with 3505.The button is at seat 9.Blankface900 posts the small blind of 30.luuuuuke posts the big blind of 60.Blankface900: -- --luuuuuke: -- --Zakkenroller: -- --SmokeJT05: -- --cubbybri: Qs QcPre-flop: (5 players) Hero is Button with Q Q UTG calls, CO calls, Hero raises to $330, 3 folds, CO calls.Flop: 7 J 9 ($810, 2 players)CO bets $810, Hero raises all-in $3175, hero??[/I believe villain is full of beans with the flop bet on rainbow board. I think I only have a T8 to worry about but I had hoped my image greatly discounted hand. I think villain would have played set or two pair a little weaker(I could be wrong) You can critique all but mainly.......Very confident that I was ahead should I have called then pushed turn if not another straight card or is my line right here. Seemed right to me but now I think I should have milked a little more.
iowahawk09 0
Looks pretty standard to me
SlackerInc 0
Looks good to me. QQ is a vulnerable enough hand that you don't want to get too greedy. I mean, are you still going to push the turn if a K or especially an A pops up? And you can't make a standard reraise as that would be for over half your stack--so a shove seems in order. Zach6668 513
Boy, you really butchered the HH/converting process.
cubbybri 0
Thanks Zach. I don't post too many hands and convertor wouldn't put in the chip stacks so I cut and pasted from the PT hand history that part. I also was dumb to put the Hero? part in since my pushing part was already in.This is first hand I got converter to agree with me at all so just be patient. At least I tried to convert which is more than some, hehe. I was rushing too, so my apologies for the hack job.It will get better.
cubbybri 0
Think I gave enough time. Probably knew standard but thought I could prevent a suckout better doing it on turn..... after the fact.I was called A9s and he back doored a flush on me.Thems the breaks but outside results(which may be why I posted ) I wanted to double check if this was best way to get value against the loose bluffing opponent. Zach6668 513
lol, yeah, it's pretty standard. For the stacks, you just have to make sure you check the box for tourney hands. You can save your settings and everything so you'll only have to do it once.
jmbreslin 0
Do most people consider 5BB a standard PF raise w/ QQ?
Zach6668 513
Do most people consider 5BB a standard PF raise w/ QQ?Not a chance.EDIT - I was thinking of a different thread... ignore me, as usual.
gobears 0
Do most people consider 5BB a standard PF raise w/ QQ?With two players limping in, then that's standard as I like to add at least 1BB per limper if I have a premium starting hand like QQ If I'm opening, then I like something around 3xBB on average. As for the hand, seems fine. Any raise pot commits you on the flop so you might as well jam it all in.
