Poker Idiot 0
Hello,I am new to Online poker and so far I have only played on Party Poker, which seems like a nice site. I have noticed on this forum that there is a lot of discussion about the different sites - to be honest I didnt even know there were more than a handful till I saw it here. I would like to try another site - does anyone have any recommendations? Or special deals for signing up. When I signed up for Party I did not know about the 20% bonus available but this time around I would like to take full advantage of any offers out there.I welcome any suggestions, and thanks to Daniel for a great site. :-)
pokerstar 0
Hi there, and welcome the site!I play at most of the sites, but my favorites are Pokerstars and PokerRoom, although I do like Ultimate Bet quite a bit too.As for bonuses, I dont think Pokerstars offers a sign up bonus - not sure about Ultimate Bet though.PokerRoom does though - I think it is normally 20% up to $100, but a friend of mine just gave me a new code that gets you 40% up to $200Just enter: COMEANDPLAYPOKER in the promotion code box when you sign up.Good luck, and let us all know how you get on,Pokerstar
dakielbasa 0
Hey, I recommend that you start out playing small cash games at ultimatebet... then once you get comfortable you should head on over to party poker because they have great bonuses that negate the rake. Do what you feel though, you can try out as many sites as you want and some even give you money to start out with! Keep in mind though, if you start with ultimate bet, their bonuses aren't good at all. But this is a great place to start playing. Once you think you can take on the big boys, find another site, ultimatebet isnt that great in higher limits IMO.
eniven 0
I do not recommend the pokerroom bonus (as much as other bonuses). You'll find that it is much slower to clear than any party bonus. The best bonus on the internet right now is clearly the Expekt Poker bonus. 50% to $100 max for just 100 raked hands. Took me an hour. You can see my thread on this bonus or just PM me for details if you wish.I'd also suggest that you go and check out www.bonuswhores.com and go to their bonus wh0ring 101 page. Then, I'd suggest following along with their guide.
desaparecidos 0
First off I'm brand new to the site, so heyy everyone! But I have an easy question for you guys.I'm just about to deposit around 50-100$ on party poker. But I see you guys talking about raked hands to clear your money. But do you have to play enough hands to clear the bonus, or all of your money you deposit?A friend of mine played on pokerstars and he said you have to get enough player points to even get to keep the money you win. So I guess my question is, say if I win two hundred dollars in a couple days, could I cash that money out without any problems of having to clear anything or play a certain amount of hands? Thanks a lot for your time =D
BPV 0
To clear the party poker bonus you have to play in 7 raked hands for every bonus dollar you receive. If you were to deposit 50 dollars now, you would get 10 dollars in bonus money. You would have to play 70 hands that contribute to the rake at the table. (if you can make $200 in 70 hands starting with 50 dollars... let me know your secret) If you deposit $100 you will get 20 bonus dollars, therefor you would have to play 140 raked hands. As for cashing out, if you plan to make a substantial amount of money, im pretty sure you will have already cleared the bonus in a few days. But in regards to your question, you can cash out anything you deposit, regardless of the bonus, but if you owe 140 raked hands, and you only complete 70 and then cash out, you will get whats left of your deposit (either + or -) and however much of your bonus you have earned, but it will negate the rest.
