nop, i lent him $100 twice yesterday, i haven't fully read that thread but fwiw, i imed fwp from another sn last night and he pretty quickly apologized, unblocked me, and promised to pay me back by the 15th at the latest. i don't really understand why he voluntarily came to this forum and re-destroyed his reputation when it honestly seems to me like he plans on paying both msals and i back as soon as he comfortably can, but hey, maybe this is another in a long line of misreads :]fwp talks to me all the time on aim and seems/seemed to me very intent on regaining his reputation and good word and i'm pretty confident that means more to him than $200, i'll be sure to post results

I'm just confused.Between him (allegedly) hitting a police officer's car while intoxicated, his previous posts, and his otherwise immature behavior, why..? I guess 200 bucks isn't much to someone like yourself, but, cripes, man..that's an eightball.

i edited my previous post, he talks to me on aim a lot, rails my tourneys a lot, and in general seems like a good guy with a drinking problem, as i said i'm fairly certain i'll get my money back within a week or two at the latest, but if i don't, hey, MISREAD

Fair enough, dude. I haven't been around these forums a lot lately, so I'm obviously working with incomplete information..it just seems to me that if I were gonna blow a few hundred bucks on a drunken tardface, it'd probably be one of the other d-bags who run around here(Actuary). But, if he's a man of his word, then, all's well that ends well.

FWIW-I've spent some time on AIM with fwp, before and after this whole flap and I believe he will pay you guys back. I don't really understand why everyone is so down on the guy, but I didn't pay to much attention to him the first time around and I never saw the drunken cop car thread.Sure at times he can be an immature ****** in his postings, but other than me, who here hasn't done that once twice. (semi s/w)Just sayin....I don't think he is as bad as everyone thinks. And I do think his word is good on this one.

He comes on here making ridiculous brag posts without evidence; intentionally annoys people; then alternates those with facts from his life in which he is a total tard and f*** up. He may be a "nice" guy, but definitely needs help. Unless his forum persona is a big act for his entertainment, which I doubt, this is a guy on a downward spiral that won't stop until he gets help.And I don't mean "I'll just lend him $100 to get him on his feet" help. I'm sort of surprised the good players on here can't tell the difference between a disciplined hard worker and a schmoozing screwball.

So all the times I tried to talk to Wand or BK at the table while in a tournament with them, the reason they didn't respond was cause they were busy chopping it up with FWP on AIM? lololololololok , I know the real reason, but damn, I didn't think I ranked far below FWP, I'm crushed

Alright just to answer alot of questions for you guys I used to work with FWP and all the stories he has told you guys about crashing into a cop car drunk are true and his online persona is alot like him in real life. The one thing i can say about FWP is that he will def pay you guys back. He actually still owes me 160 from a Madden bet. He straight up lied to me and told me he would pay if he lost and in the end he didn't and said he woudl pay me later. When is is financially set and can afford to pay you guys as well as me he will. I definatley believe he will pay withing two weeks or on the 15th when he gets his check. I bet my reputation on it also even though I'm new to this site.

It's easy to bet a reputation when none exists.I totally side with the OP, in that I'm amazed that anyone who saw FWP's posts a few months ago would ever consider lending him bus fare, let alone a couple hundred.
