Only reason I opted for the call was the description in the OP of the villain. If he's that aggro post flop, but is willing/able to lay the hand down to a big repot if we make it here, I'll let out a little rope and hope we can hang him somewhere.

calling is gonna give the button too good of a price. and then we won't know where we are postflop.with a player behind we're gonna be handcuffed on too many flops IMO.

There are a large number of flops that are good for you (10% chance of flush draw, 25% chance of flush, etc). That said, I like repotting here.With a hand like AA38 you would struggle to play postflop in a large pot. With AAQQ more flops are favourable, so getting money in now is fine.Hmm.. That sounds a little backwards, but I know what I mean makes sense.
