I'm sure you are taking a nice long pre- WSOP break, maybe out on the course, slowly getting back into the swing of things.

Just curious if you had any final thought regarding this weeks WPT, comments, observations, etc.

Peace out.

Yeah... go Kirk Morrison.

Actually, I made the worst play I've ever made in a big tournament on day two. It was so bad it's just inexcusable. I went on tilt and got all my money in two hands later drawing to two outs. It was pretty pathetic.

Obviously too concerned about his poor performance in the FCP playoff hockey pool to concentrate on poker. smile.gif

Yikes....sorry man. I'm guessing you'll write about that at some point, be interesting to hear about it.

And yeah, Go KIRK! Most probably aren't that familiar with him, but Bob mentioned that he is a good friend of yours and a great player, and well positioned now to win this thing. Best of luck to him. (and again, congrats to all the FCP players in this event. icon_clap.gif ).

Kirk is a fantastic guy - easily the nicest poker player I've ever met. He bought me a beer after we both busted from the razz event in 06 and I got to hear his whole retirement / re-entrance to poker story. When I saw him friday playing a 3k sng, he still remembered me.

From the new blog:

Its good that Daniel knows what he did wrong, and although he is upset, it is also good that he is still extremely happy with his life. Kirk is doing great, he's in second (according to cardplayer), and Carlos is leading.

I've heard from many people that the Tiger Woods game is great, I got to play it.
