6 left out of 409

Villain has been very tight, but will occaisonally just push all his chips in the middle PF. I've only seen him actually play postflop once in the last hour.
This is the 3rd time he has made this move against me in the last 2 hours. (Ironically I had raised PF with KJ every time...can he see my cards?? smile.gif) He had also used this move 4 other times against other people in the last hour.

My image is TAG. Two hands earlier I had started with the same line with AA and doubled up via Mr. LAG in the BB.

Payout is first place only. $12k WSOP package.

It feels like a steal, but none of his pushes had been called...so I really have no idea what he could be holding.

2-2.5x BB raises were getting called, 3x+ raises generally took the blinds.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t4000 (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

UTG (t104760)
Hero (t104440)
CO (t89767)
Button (t161250)
SB (t76712)
BB (t76571)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K, J.
1 fold, Hero raises to t12200, 1 fold, Button raises to t161250, 2 folds, Hero ???

What's his range for this push? PP's only?

This is probably the easiest fold I've read about in awhile.

Is it even a raise PF? Big stack has position on everybody. His pushing so hard makes me think hes not all that strong, but KJ is a terrible hand to call with.

I quickly folded this. I only bring it up because of what he ended up busting out with later. He limped against the chip leader. They both checked it to the river where the chip leader leads out with a half pot sized bet. This guy instapushes. The CL calls him with top 2 pair and this guy shows Ace high and is done.

As for Raising KJ. Absoultely. 6 Handed against a tight table and this takes the blinds 75% of the time. And even if we get a call we are not in that bad of shape. Just play it conservatively postflop.

Finished 4th in this when my 2pr K9 ran into 2pr A9. So close to the WSOP I could taste it.
