I think it's a great show and have seen every episode. I have a gay friend who got me into the show, and while some of the scenes can be uncomfortably graphic, the actual plot lines and character development is excellent. If you are not a homophobe, or actually, especially if you are a homophobe, you should watch the show. You might learn a thing or two about gay culture that you didn't know before. I appreciate the fact that the show isn't a propaganda piece to sell the gay lifestyle. It shows both the good and the bad. I haven't gotten into the L Word yet, but I hear that's also a pretty amazing show.

the l word is good. not only because of the amount of lesbian action portrayed, but the plot lines are good. ive only seen 4-5 episodes but id highly recommend it

Doesn't seem that way to me. Seems like they're trying pretty hard to make sure people don't think they're gay, based on a tv show they watch, with gay characters.
