Min Check Raise On The Flop?

Stack sizes:
UTG: t1425
UTG+1: t2635
MP1: t3525
CO: t2435
Hero: t2405
SB: t1540
BB: t1390

Pre-flop: (7 players) Hero is Button with T icon_suit_heart.gif K icon_suit_spade.gif
UTG calls t50 (pot was t75), 3 folds, Hero raises to t200, SB folds, BB calls t150 (pot was t325), UTG folds.

Flop: A icon_suit_diamond.gif 9 icon_suit_spade.gif K icon_suit_diamond.gif (t475, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t280, BB raises to t560...

I find that this almost always means they have a monster. I would assume the villain has 99, or A 9.

If you don't like folding to the minraise, I would call, then check/call the last two streets if he makes it cheap enough. Proceed very cautiously in these check/minraise situations. It's usually a donkey's way of getting maximum value.

Raising with a UTG limper PF with KTo is not good; you are building a bigger pot with a weak hand.

Checking the flop is preferrable, but betting is not all bad. However, bet smaller, like 150 to 200; fold to the C/R.

I generally agree with this, especially preflop - you should just limp behind here. The flop c-bet (including the size) was fine, though, but you have to give him credit at least for an ace with the minraise absent a read to the contrary, and fold here to his checkraise. On this board, which is very scary and draw heavy, a c-bet of less than half just screams of weakness and you are begging to either be outdrawn or have the pot taken away from you. So, post-flop, if you folded to his checkraise, I think you played it right. Your real mistake was the preflop raise.
