In LO8, I'd be jamming the flop. I'm not really sure how much that changes in PL though. I kinda like the turn minraise to build a pot, but I think you could go a little more, even a 3x or 4x raise there gets called a lot. You've got the nut low and 2 pair, which is pretty strong on that board for hight, I'm not overly worried if one guy drops.River's fine, I think. Maybe you can get a call from a naked A2 or something like that to scoop.

is this PLO8 or just PLO?im guessing from the hand it's O8with no redraws i dont mind waiting for the turn, but this seems like as good a flop as any to jami think the raise on the river is kinda big. you dont have a lock hi (although with the action i would think youre good)and youre often splitting the low

PLO8, sorry, the converter stinks.A couple questions: How often does someone have a better high AND a split low? Do I ever get called by worse hands in this position (or no high and a split low)? Is there a better bet on the river that gets me called more?

smooth call pf. JAM JAM JAM all streets. the flop call and turn min-raise is silly.bet.
Don't I want to keep a few people around on this hand? I feel like I lose everyone if I jam and win less money. Or am I completely off on the strategy of Omaha tourneys here?

on the flop you probably have both halves. too many cards come on the turn which take away one of your halves (or all of it). before the river there's 1040 in the pot, now if you had been betting and raising and isolating there'd be a lot more than 1040 in the pot and you'd be against less players and have less hands to worry about. all this leads to increasing the chance that you scoop a bigger pot. if you don't scoop the pot you'll often win 1/2 of a larger pot or 3/4th a SUPER large pot.sorry i'm bad at explaining but i think you get it.

You need to maximize the probability that you win 3/4 or scoop and minimize the probability that you get zero or 1/4 (when you almost certainly lose money) - especially in a tourney. You would have been sick if the board didn't pair and some sh1tty little flush took the high half - or if you let 66 stay to the end and beat you.Jam the flop to get rid of the nut flush draw with a bad low and get left with nut low and weak flush draw hands. When the safe turn comes, put the rest in - you have to make the draws pay to get there. You really want to try to freeroll in PLO8 and for this you usually need to get heads up, which you almost always do by betting aggressively.
