serge 904 Posted April 15, 2007 Share Posted April 15, 2007 I am not sure why the Canadian national anthem is played before the game...Is this only a Buffalo thing because of the proximity to Canada?Before most players were Canadian and it made sense, but now why not play the Russian national anthem, or the Swedish National Anthem.?/I dont disagree with it, but just wondering... Buffalo Sabres are the lone exception, and they do it because a percentage of their fans hail from the Niagara Penninsula.... Link to post Share on other sites
