Aa On The Button, Everyone Folds To Me.

Recommended Posts

So everyone folds to me and i'm a little sad because I want action. I don't like limping and giving the blinds afree chance to out flop me. I also find people at these limits often think the button raise is a bluff. I decide to bet pot and thankfully get reraised by the BB. Whats my line here? He's got a little over half a buy in. No reads. Do I want to just call and hope he takes a stab at it on the flop, a min reraise or small reraise or a normal sized reraise. I'm not too convinced he has a very good hand with the way it has played out so far.Full Tilt PokerNo Limit Holdem Ring gameBlinds: $0.25/$0.508 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $49.25UTG+1: $65.05MP1: $39.40MP2: $52.25CO: $61.05hero: $89.05SB: $14.50BB: $28.20Pre-flop: (8 players) hero is Button with A :D A :club:5 folds, hero raises to $1.75, SB folds, BB raises to $6, hero ?

This would be the perfect spot to trap him. You're heads up and you know you've got position. If you don't wanna do that, I'd reraise to $13$ or something and I think there's a good chance that he'd push here. It's less likely he's making a play IMO becuase he's got a short stack, will be OOP for the whole hand and made a sizable reraise preflop.NL ring games are not games where you need to defend your blinds. If he's doing it for that reason, he won't be around for long anyway.

Very true about the defending your blinds but I see so many people reraise from the SB or BB after a button raise and either show a bluff or show down a weakish hand at the river. At least at these limits.

I probably call.So he has $22 left and a $13 pot on the flop.As long as he doesn't make a retardedly weak flop bet, we're getting it in on the flop, and he's almost always calling. GL.Position is a wonderful thing.

I think this is one of the few situations raising is EV- many times people do this at this limit with crazy hands, there is no need to 3 bet and let him know you have a real hand.

You are in the best situation you can, play it any way you want you got it all, re-pop PF or better probe bet the flop you should be able to get him all in.

Before reading anyone else's responses to this, BB is going to take a stand with this hand. He's raised to $6 with a .50 blind. Re-pop to $12 and call his all in.
