With 2 checks in front of me, definitely bet. Not many people would check-raise after the turn was checked down. The possibility of being check-raised was low, you're likely to get called by a worse hand. It's a good bet, you just got unlucky.

And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those
who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.
And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.

Was asking if it was a good value bet, which is an obvious "yes" judging by the posts here. It just seems I lose more money on these types of value bets (hit TPTK or similar on river, last to act, and checked to me). I get check raised and forced to pay off 2 pair more often than it gains me more bets it seems.Probably just the ol varience beast, as I only have 2.5k hands in on limit so far.And I swear I'll finish SSHE holdem soon and keep the dumb/easy questions to a minimum. It's just when I'm home, I can either put in a few hundred hands or read some more.. so yeah.

I'd definitely bet here. I probably wouldn't three-bet, as someone suggested above, though. Based on the hand to this point, there's no reason to think you're behind.
